striker1z 0 Posted April 30, 2006 Got a job offer from a company in Charlotte on Friday, and I'm about 98% sure I'm going to take it. I'll be making about 20% more that I am currently making, with a lot more opportunities for advancement. The commute from Columbia (SC) is about 1 hour 15 minutes each way (80 miles), so I won't be able to do that for too long. Does anyone here live in Charlotte? Can you recommend good areas to live in South Charlotte, or across the border in SC? The company is off Westinghouse Blvd, 1st exit once you cross into NC.
