fantasy rookie drafts taking huge hits

Recommended Posts

looks like a lot of the fantasy league rookie drafts will be murky. 4 of the 5 good hbs in this draft have some interference issues: bush-mcallister, maroney-dillon, dwilliams-foster, lwhite-cbrown/thenry. seems only addai (indy) has a clear picture (although it is still debatable whether dom rhodes is a real threat.) doesnt make for confident drafting at the position. contrarily, it means we have to use/waste more picks on handcuffs.

the qbs are interesting: most thought young would pine 1 yr watching abrooks, and leinart would start early with the jets or titans. instead, young looks like he'll get the early nod while leinart will wait. how long will cutler sit behind jake? do the jet and packer qbs taken have a chance at playing/starting?

Only Bush has a real stud in front of him and he's coming back from an ACL. Dillon is 32 and Foster and Brown can't stay healthy. May be murky this year but should be sorted out by 2007. In a dynasty that's not very long to wait.

In my keeper league Bush will go first. Others, we'll have to see how things pan out.

Agree it is a lot different than last year with Brown/Caddy/Benson.

Williams will have the biggest impact. Foster/Davis = injuries

I think Maroney will. Dillon looked truly shot last year.

I think so to he is more of the complete rb. Not to mention Carolina likes to have one main rb and Williams will get every chance to be that guy.
