shovelheadt 71 Posted May 10, 2006 I love the kid too, but no way in hell he's back for day 1... I'm almost to the point where I'd lay a bet against this.
XToday 0 Posted May 10, 2006 Name it. (must be full starter week 1, not mop-up duty or primary backup)

Bandits47 0 Posted May 11, 2006 Although it will definitely make it harder for the Steelers, hope to see him back in form for the season (and no, I don't own him in any league), seems like a really good guy and a helluva player..
football_scooter 0 Posted May 11, 2006 In a twisted way, I'm kinda glad he has had this adversity, because I always wait to draft QBs. Had he been 100% going into this season, he'd be taken in the 1st 3 rounds, for sure. Maybe even the 2nd QB off the board after PManning. Now he might slide to the 5th or 6th where he'll again be a bargain. Even if he misses the 1st couple weeks, I will be thrilled to draft him late and let my backup carry me for the 1st couple of games - not like he hurt his arm, so whenever he comes back he should light it up. I love Palmer as a "sleeper" this year - 5th-6th round steal.
shovelheadt 71 Posted May 11, 2006 I love Palmer as a "sleeper" this year - 5th-6th round steal. Without any setbacks, I wouldn't see him slipping past the 3rd round regardless of his playing status.
