Don't forget about Verron Haynes for the Steelers. He could get a lot of shortyardage work this year. He was basically in line to start last year before Bettis came back and FWP emerged.

I think they may give Fason a few shots in Minnesota and if he performs like he did last year then Taylor will be getting most of the work. M.Moore should still get a few touches though.

Did I miss something or did the Ravens sign M. Anderson. He's got to be used somehow.

I am sure he'll spell Lewis (or if Lewis ran like he did last year.. he could even take the job)... but they still will need the change of pace/3rd down back. They think they may hvae him in one of the later round drafct picks... I think Daniels was his name.

Prince Daniels?

Curtis Martin - is he the starter or is it going to be Blaylock

Curtis Martin will likely begin the year as the starter and primary ball carrier with Cedric Houston in the mix. I expect Houston to eventually get the majority of carries as the season progresses, unless Martin has a return to glory season.

Blaylock should be the third down back and occasional ball carrier. Unfortunatelyit looks like RBBC in NYC this season.

1 - Its a big knee injury.. he won't be worth spit until late in the season or next year. Look for them to try out their new toy (BUSH) early and often.

2 - Green will get a shot to come back to form.. but Gado will probably win out.. RBBC.

3 - Holmes is a mute point... LJ is the guy now.. RIP Holmes.

4 - Last year is a preview of this year.... passing situations and spot 3rd down work.

5 - Why ask why.. Martin is on his last legs and neither Blaylock or Houston will be productive in the O.

6 - Taylor will continue to get the starting spot until hurt.. he is still produtive. If not him Jones will be the goto man. Draft both... mandatory cuff.

7 - Jordan is the guy.. no vulture needed.

8 - Jones short term.. Benson will push him out eventually.. RBBC. No trade in the horizon.

9 - No... The Jones experiment went bust. Tiki is the man.

10 - Look for a similar usage of Parker this year with Staley filling Bettis' role until hurt but with less production than Bettis. Parkers will be similar if not better this year.

11 - Umm that's why they signed Anderson.

Ones you left out..

12 - Niners - Barlow will get another shot and fail.. look for Gore to end up being the guy.

13 - Dallas - RBBC with Barber slowly taking over unless JJ busts out.

14 - Indy - RBBC with Addai and Rhodes.

15 - Denver - RBBC until Dayne or Bell establishes himself... Dayne will get the nod until he doesn't perform.

I'm not sure what people see in Houston. He didn't impress me at all last season. He's a big back but he doesn't have outside speed and just seemed to fall forward alot. He averaged a measly 3.7 yards per carry. I think it could be wide open between Blaylock, Houston and Washington.

I think this is martins last year as a starter in NY. The RB of the future for the Jets is in college right now. Blaylock, Houston and Washington are just depth.

I bet you my left nut it's not RBBC in Dallas.

Don't believe the hype.

Also left out New England- Dillon has been working out w/ personal trainer, but I don't think that he will stay healthy. Maroney should only be counted on for the 2nd half and is only valuable as a #4 or #5 in re-drafts.

Carolina- D. Foster is the man until he gets hurt. In past 6 years only 3 RB's out of 14 drafted in 1st round and out of top 5 have started more than 1/3rd of the games they played in. None of those 3 had to compete in camp with a back like Foster.

Jury is out on Priest, he could come back and at least split some carries. I dont' think LJ will be able to continue to run the ball 30 times a game and stay healthy. We won't know until the season starts.

I would think the Giants will expand Jacobs role in order to keep Tiki healthy for a few years.

Michael Robinson may factor into the RB mix in San Fran.

Interesting....are you saying that Julius will be the man there? Or are you saying that he will once again falter, piss off Tuna and lose the starting job to MBIII? Have you heard anything?

Most of what I've been reading has had JJ working out a lot to take control down there... then again I'm in Philly so we don't get a lot of Cowgirl coverage.

Seriously though, what have you heard?

He averaged 3.7 ypc behind a line that was completely decimated. Though I agree he wasn't all that impressive he did run hard and had moderate success given the situation. I think the Jets will want to give him a look if Martin slows down or they fall out of contention, both good possibilities.

What happened to Priest's voice? And who is this Jones guy?

The biggest question on draft day.....as usual will be do you completly avoid Denvers rb's or do you try and handcuff a couple together?

But Barber will get the ball in the Red Zone just like the last half of last year. I was a Jones owner last year and it was frustrating.

I'd take Lamont Jordan off that list and consider him a solid selection.

He got plenty of goalline carries and he gives value regardless if Oak's offense takes off or not.

If they have a solid year offensively, he'll obviously benefit.

If things go sour, he's very involved in the passing game and should get 'his' either way with dump-offs.

There was a thread about whether he has good hands or not, but to me that's somewhat a mute point. He gets the opportunities that other backs don't and that's key to me. And I don't see anyone new on the roster to replace him when it's 3-and-7.

If he catches 60 and drops 15, that's better than a back who catches 30 out of 30.
