bengalfan932 0 Posted June 19, 2006 Hey everyone I'm in the process of creating a Madden Simulation league and am looking for GMs to fill roles. What happens in the league is each gm controls their own Madden-based team. We will run our own version of a fantasy draft and each GM will try to startegize to the best of their ability to win as many games a possible. All games will be simulated on Madden 06 for Gamecube. Each GM will be required to submit a weekly lineup and gameplan to me each week so I can set your strategies on the game. The season will play out just like any other NFL season would. You can make trades, sign free agents, redo deals, etc. It is very fun and doesn't take a lot of your time. Do you plan on having your season coincide with the NFL season (1 game per week) or will it be shortened? Do we draft an entire team, including individual O and D linemen, or just the traditional fantasy slots? Will all 32 NFL teams be represented? (if so, can I have the Browns?) Thanks. You do not have to have Gamecube. I put the players in the system after you draft them. However, having Madden 06 for Gamecube might save me some time but no, it's not a necessity by any means. 2. I haven't decided yet. More than likely we will take a league vote. We will either do one game per week (sunday) or two games per week (sunday and wednesday). Offseason will be shorter than the NFL offseason. 3. You draft an entire team. 4. Yes, we will have all 32 teams. Da Bomb 0 Posted June 19, 2006 this sounds like fun. is there a place that lists all of the player rankings, for those of us that dont have a game cube? also, are you doing just one season, or are you doing like a 3-5 year thing so that youth matters? and also, will you have trading? how much time are you expecting for this sort of a thing. it sounds fun, but to get 32 owners to draft a 45 man roster is going to take months... Yes there is a place that has the ratings. I provide the overall ratings on the website but more in-depth stats can be found if you join the league. I hope we can go at least 3 seasons. We probably won't do any more than 7 or so, if that. Trading will be available. We are not drafting 45 rounds. Sorry I forgot to mention that. We are only drafting 30 rounds, filling all starters and significant backups. It won't take any longer than 3 or 4 weeks. If owners slack off during their period to select, I will kick them out.
