Bottles 0 Posted July 26, 2006 I think there's somewhat of a consensus that you've got your top 3 backs, then Portis/Barber or vice versa. Then Edge, Jordan, SJax, Ronnie Brown, Rudi and Cadi in some kind of order. While people disagree on the order of these guys, I think many agree that these top 11 are in a top class by themselves. I would like to know what the next tier of rbs is and where one draws the line. So we've got McGahee, Westbrook, Dunn, Droughns, J Jones, Bush, J. Lewis, Parker, Dillon....now I've maybe left the second tier and entered the third? Or maybe there's more in this group? Anyone wanna take a stab at giving me a second tier after the top 11, or maybe two tiers below the 11 if you think that's how the backs fall? Anyone wanna do it for PPR and non PPR? I know there's a million threads like this, if you think this is lame, feel free to flame away or ignore it.

Parja 0 Posted July 26, 2006 Probably a good idea to define the number of points per tier for consistency. I go with 16 (1 point per week), so here's mine with tier numbers to give an idea of dropoff between tiers... 1 Larry Johnson 4 (yup, 4...LJ blows up this year, outpacing everyone by a considerable margin) Shaun Alexander 5 LaDainian Tomlinson 6 Stephen Jackson Clinton Portis 7 Chester Taylor LaMont Jordan Ronnie Brown 8 Rudi Johnson 9 Carnell Williams Brian Westbrook Edgerrin James Kevin Jones 10 Willie Parker Reuben Droughns Domanick Davis Thomas Jones Tiki Barber
