DBZFan2K 0 Posted July 27, 2006 I fail to see how going from a team that will throw the ball (Oakland) to a team that won't (Atlanta) would be a good thing for Porter. How about Philadelphia? Porter would be an upgrade over any of their current WR's.

t.j 35 Posted July 27, 2006 I fail to see how adding Duckett would help the Raiders when he doesn't bring anything to the table that Jordan doesn't already. The Raiders could use plenty of help at backup HB, but Duckett isn't the guy.
Parja 0 Posted July 27, 2006 Yeah, Porter would be a waste in Atl. Philly or GB would be good fits for him.

Not that Porter is awesome; but he is an improvement other those guys. A move like this would but Atl over the edge. Atl is the only team where their WRs don't even have an ADP; because you don't draft them. I think Atl would be the best pick for Porter and the Raiders could use a back up like Ducket. Jordan can't take all the carries and what if he gets hurt. Atl may have to throw in a #2 for next year for even an LB, their stacked there too anyway. Brookings, Hartwell, Williams, Boley. None of those other teams have anything to offer.

Does the name Peerless Price ring a bell? Atl is the only team where their WRs don't even have an ADP; because you don't draft them. The Raiders have Jordan and Crockett to pound the ball into the end zone. They don't need a third goal line back. This trade might fly in Madden, but not in real life. Makes zero sense for them. The Raiders would be better off trading Porter for some kind of draft pick, or they can get Warren Sapp to eat him.
Kellys Heroes 0 Posted July 27, 2006 No longer a DBZ Fan, so fock off Hey man, who wasn't at one time or another. The sh1t was on every hour of everday when cartoon network first came on.
Savage Beast 1 Posted July 27, 2006 Please fantasy gods, make it happen. As a J Porter owner (8th rd), make it happen. Playing in Atlanta would significantly decrease Porter's fantasy value. Atlanta is the most run heavy team in the NFL because of their starting QB.
tecklc2112 7 Posted July 27, 2006 I'd like to see the Browns go after Porter. That would be a nice receiving corps...Edwards, Porter, Jurevicious, Winslow, Droughns out of the backfield. Would be a big plus for Frye.

Its not like it was only Atl where he had a bad time. Even last yr on Dallas, he only started 1 focking game and only had 6 catches for less than a 100 yds w/ the same qb as in Buffulo. Parja 0 Posted July 28, 2006 Hey man, who wasn't at one time or another. The sh1t was on every hour of everday when cartoon network first came on. Weird show. I mean, they could go whole episodes where nothing much happened but the combatants powered up in preparation for a fight. It's one of those shows you can just have on in the background while you're doing somthing else and never really miss much.
harken34 0 Posted July 28, 2006 Why would you want this to happen. Vick can't throw a football threw the field goal post. Porter's value would go . He's better off being side Moss. Moss draws double teams almost every play. Which leaves Porter in single.
Kellys Heroes 0 Posted July 29, 2006 PackersNews.com reports Green Bay Packers general manager Ted Thompson wouldn't say whether he has had talks with the Oakland Raiders about a trade for WR Jerry Porter, who wants out of Oakland. That would be cool too.
