I fail to see how going from a team that will throw the ball (Oakland) to a team that won't (Atlanta) would be a good thing for Porter.

 

How about Philadelphia? Porter would be an upgrade over any of their current WR's.

I fail to see how adding Duckett would help the Raiders when he doesn't bring anything to the table that Jordan doesn't already. The Raiders could use plenty of help at backup HB, but Duckett isn't the guy.

Besides The TE, who else is there to pass the ball too. Jenkins, White, Finnerman; come on I wouldn't throw it either. Not that Porter is awesome; but he is an improvement other those guys. A move like this would but Atl over the edge.

Jordan can't take all the carries and what if he gets hurt. Atl may have to throw in a #2 for next year for even an LB, their stacked there too anyway. Brookings, Hartwell, Williams, Boley. None of those other teams have anything to offer.

The Raiders have Jordan and Crockett to pound the ball into the end zone. They don't need a third goal line back. This trade might fly in Madden, but not in real life. Makes zero sense for them. The Raiders would be better off trading Porter for some kind of draft pick, or they can get Warren Sapp to eat him.

Playing in Atlanta would significantly decrease Porter's fantasy value. Atlanta is the most run heavy team in the NFL because of their starting QB.

I'd like to see the Browns go after Porter. That would be a nice receiving corps...Edwards, Porter, Jurevicious, Winslow, Droughns out of the backfield. Would be a big plus for Frye.

he doesnt want to throw it because he doesnt have touch...hes got a cannon, but cant put it in the right place at the right velocity. he hasnt proven he can throw the ball, so why do u think he can?

Weird show. I mean, they could go whole episodes where nothing much happened but the combatants powered up in preparation for a fight. It's one of those shows you can just have on in the background while you're doing somthing else and never really miss much.

Why would you want this to happen. Vick can't throw a football threw the field goal post. Porter's value would go . He's better off being side Moss. Moss draws double teams almost every play. Which leaves Porter in single.

PackersNews.com reports Green Bay Packers general manager Ted Thompson wouldn't say whether he has had talks with the Oakland Raiders about a trade for WR Jerry Porter, who wants out of Oakland.
