IndyTom 0 Posted July 29, 2006 Looking for some new ideas. We currently do a split with the top four finishing teams winning money. Any creative ideas for keeping everyone competitive throughout the season? Absolutely! This is what we do: Entry: $85 The winner of each weekly head to head game gets $5 The highest team score of the week gets a bonus of $10 Winner of the season gets 50% of the remaining money plus 50% of the drop/add fees 2nd place gets 35% of the money and 25% of the drop/add fees 3rd place gets 15% of the money and 25% of the drop/add fees We love this method because even bottom dwellers can recoup some of their entry by winning some games and perhaps get the highest overall score for the week as well. This has kept our teams on track with their lineups and trash talking as well.

Any creative ideas for keeping everyone competitive throughout the season? Our league has weekly payouts for the high score in the league and the teams that don't make the playoffs play in a loser's bracket which determines their draft position for the following year. $150 entry fee $50 weekly payouts 1st $750 2nd $500 3rd $250 4th $150 Best regular season record $

Zackattack 0 Posted July 31, 2006 We charge $120 a team. This is $100 for team and $20 covers CBS sportline and misc fees. $5 for any add/ drop What happens is at the end of the year we have appox $1200 plus $600-700 in trade money. we have two divisions and each winnner gets $200. You had the best record after teh season you serserve something. 2nd and 3rd place team in each division play each other winners get $100 each. division championship game winners $100 each then we have the superbowl The winner gets $400 plus 2/3 of the trade pot. second place gets 1/3 of the trade pot. You finish first and you usually get $1,000 and second is like $400-500. It works very well I think!
