Would this be Overvaluing Bush in Keeper?

Recommended Posts

I'm in a keeper league. We can keep 4 vets and 2 rookies every year (6 total)...The special keeper rule is that anyone drafted in the first 2 rounds MUST get recycled into the next year's draft (unless they're a rookie).

That said, (I hope it is clear and not confusing)....

Many of the stud runningbacks are being kept. The best 3 that will be available are LT, SA, and Edge...Beyond that the dropoff is pretty huge..(no other Top 10...maybe no other top 15)....

My team is absolutely terrible and I have no chance of winning this year...even if I draft Edge...

Would passing on Edge to draft Reggie Bush be a terrible terrible move? Usually the Rookie RBs go in the late first early 2nd when the premium players are gone (such as LT, SA, Edge, TO, Manning, Harrison...)...

Also, if I'm going to do this and basically concede this year...would I want to be drafting Bush or should I get someone like Maroney?

If you are going to punt the season, take both, or Addai.

I'm going to guess that either this is the second year this league has been in existence or that there is only a limited number of years you can keep a player.

It sounds like you'd only have Edge for one year but you'd have Bush for his whole career? If that's the case, definitely go Bush!
