Diesel07 0 Posted August 14, 2006 3.12 Santana Moss- Could have taken a few other WRs, but i didnt really like any of them THAT much. I like Moss's big play ability. Hes a speedy reciever that can stretch the defense. Just what i like in a WR. If their running game sucks this year, which i dont think it should (i had Portis #2 overall ) Then Moss should benefit even more. 4.01 Donald Driver- He is clearly the #1 WR on the team and if the GB defense strugles again this year, that means more gunslinging from Farve & more garbage points for me. Well I have an interesting pair of RB's to go with my STUD WR'ers. Foster looked pretty darn good this last weekend. This is his year to stay healthy! Get D. Davis in the pink and I'm ready to roll. Zap 0 Posted August 14, 2006 After Waveman picks, four of the next five are showing as predrafted. The only not is scooter who probably won't hold things up. This will probably hit the 5th round tonight, just so you know. Also, this isn't quite close enough for me to predraft, and I could possibly delay things this evening... some friends coming over tonight.
football_scooter 0 Posted August 14, 2006 DD and Foster? I hope you plan on spending a lot of time in church this season.....praying. lmao some friends coming over tonight. you have friends? who knew! j/k
Zap 0 Posted August 14, 2006 you have friends? who knew! j/k Raider fans bringing their little demons over for the game. The demons will be in the pool, I'll be watching them, the game, and bbqing. Doubt I'll be online until late in the game. I'm on pins and needles approaching this corner. Plan A was dumped for Plan B which is about to be dumped for Plan C, I think. Wish he'd pick in the next 30 minutes...
TexanForever 0 Posted August 14, 2006 I am not predrafted as all my predraftees have been used up. But I will be around all evening and checking in. I amy even have a couple of surprises for my fellow drafters. Just out of curiosity, how many of you are using Draft Dominator? The picks so far are awfully close to it. TexanForever 0 Posted August 15, 2006 Hadn't really planned on taking Shockey at 4.10, but felt like he represented the most value for me at the time. There was one other player who probably had more value but I just didn't want to take him this early. Call it personal preference, I guess.

I hope you plan on spending a lot of time in church this season.....praying. lmao you have friends? who knew! j/k Shockey in the 4th Lots of reaches in this draft...nothing wrong with that though. football_scooter 0 Posted August 15, 2006 And now for my own reach... Andre Johnson is the most underrated WR in the league this year, and he's been invisible in every draft I've done. I am hoping he keeps sliding under the radar. He should have been there in the 5th, but AOL had him as the next best, which really pissed me off. I knew if I didn't reach, he may not have made it back. Then again, he may have - who knows. But 1200/10 is a perfectly reasonable projection from a guy who was robbed of his 3rd year breakout by a high ankle sprain that nagged him all year. So while I reached a full round early,I don't think he was bad value there.

I hope he does reach his full potential this year. Only if he gets traded... You obviously did not get to go to the Texans pre-season game on Saturday... BoneYArdDog 0 Posted August 15, 2006 I was surprised Palmer went so early in a redraft... Has certainly not been a standard draft with a lot of picks... Just makes it easier for me to build up my championship caliber team...
Zap 0 Posted August 15, 2006 Thanks for the patience. I'll get caught up here pretty quick. Everyone should have email but scooter (the zdood addy you left aol isn't working). TJ and Brady. Argh. This was the earliest I've ever drafted a QB since... probably the early 90s. I am confident he will have a huge season, and I wanted the position out of my way this year. I knew when I took the two wrs that I was going to be up against it at RB. This is where I found LJ a year ago. No delusions about this team I'm drafting. I need to hit gold a few times before the 12th round or I may be commishing ya'll next year without a team. Did you see the Raiders? Umm, Randy Moss is on the trading block!?
