Its not that they dont care, its that they arent skilled enough fantasy players to make proper evaluations. We're dealing with a bunch of rookies posing as avid fantasy players based on how many bullsh*t posts they make. Man up biotches and give some feedback.

I still like my team scooter at the #1 pick than this team - of course I would have taken Moss if he was there. Thomas Jones as the #2 rb???? I can't have a #2 rb that has the possiblity of riding the  .

I am not entirely impressed with team #1. Beyond LJ, there were dicey RB selections. The Green/Barlow turn was not exactly spectacular for a 3-4 RB combo. lol

Still - IDP changes things a bit. You can get by without a #2 RB, especially with LJ carrying the load.

While I know most don't care about this, I do. Thanks, as I have one of these coming up. A quick look and I like team #12, but it looks as though the league is very balanced overall. Guess you guys have been in the league more than one year. IDP guys started about where I expected as well.

WRs are "pathetic"? Owens, MJones, AJohnson, DBennett?

Funny - they look like they have the chance to be the best starting trio in the league.

Funny, I listed Owens as a strength, the rest of them are pathetic, you better pray that Jones steps up and delivers or that TO is able to haul in 25 TD's. :D

no one cares about IDP. :(

I LIVE FOR IDP !!! :pointstosky: They're just as important as offensive guys in the NFL why not in fantasy???? In fact i'm thinking of starting just an IDP league only and draft Team Offenses (a reverse theory to the average FFL world) I've never grasped the whole team defense thing that most people do.. it's weak....

Anyway about these teams

Team # 1 is stacked on both sides of the ball...and I like them a lot... Only guy I don't like on the entire team is Jevon Kearse.... he just seems like a decoy these days.... maybe the arrival/help of Darren Howard will help him get back to his past days....

Team 4 has a nice D....

Team 5 has a nasty a$$ defense! In fact his whole team is pretty nice.... If Mike Bell does what I think he's going to do then team 5 will take it down... I like Greg Jones also as a sleeper, he has a sweet team....

Team 1 & 5

I really like team 8. Nice RB and WR selections, plus Bledsoe and Brooks were both good values. The LBs look very solid as well. I'm predicting LaVar will outperform many of the IDPs taken ahead of him.

LaVar left practice Friday (?) with pain in his surgically repaired knee, per TSN. That'd be 3 straight seasons. :pointstosky:

Lavar :pointstosky: Theres probably 40 Lb's I'd take over his weak a$$

Worst decision he ever made was not to mate with Serena Williams.... I would have LOVED to SEE THAT MONSTER COME OUT..... my god the spawn of Lavar and Serena....

Wow, I didn't hear about the knee. Probably no word yet on whether it's serious or not. Well, if he can stay healthy, I still think he can be dominant.

that fat bastard squandered away on my bench last year in a $ IDP league...every friggin week, it was "coach says I might play this week" - then he's in the doghouse. I dropped his worthless carcas in wek 5. Best move I made that season. :pointstosky:

TSN changed their story a little...

Latest update Aug. 21, 2006 - 6:52 p.m.

Arrington left the Giants' practice on Monday because of swelling in one of his knees.

Fantasy Source spin: The team didn't specify which knee, but we're guessing it's his right one, which has been giving him problems for the last two seasons. He's looking less and less like a safe IDP pick.

Fitz depends on a healthy Warner to get good FF numbers, Warner WILL get hurt.....

Williams needs an ouce of talent around him to do anything this year, and has none, he is a beast but wont make any numbers without a decent QB or running game to bolster him

Burleson and Branch arent even decent #3's, Brown is you best hope to develop into a threat this year.

Uh, except history seems to contradict that....looking at his numbers from the last couple seasons he appears to be a solid producer regardless of the team around him. 8 TDs in 11 and 12 games respectively in 2004/2005...

Last I checked, Harrington was tossing the rock for those teams...Maybe you could explain this one a little further? It doesn't seem to jive with reality.

Based on your previous commentary/evals, you have no credibility anyway - thus it doesn't surprise me that it took you this long to realize the blatently obvious. Sort of like calling out Mike Martz, the most pass-happy OC/HC in history, for his lack of success with WRs. :(

Hey, don't mean to shock you there, but you should know that you have a nose on your face.

HTH :dunno:

Sure, no credibility with you, but then again I didnt just call a group of pedestrian WR's the top trio in the league either :D

Also, if you truly believe Martz is the genius of that system instead of its ruination, then I might start to worry that you wont be competitive

Team 1.11

Strengths: Decent WR's; Decent defensive depth

Weaknesses: QB is weak; RB's dont look to last past week 5; Winslow

Chad Johnson, Torry Holt, "decent WR"s I think a little bit more than that. With Brayon Edwards and the outstanding rookie Greg Jennings I would classify the wide receivers as a little more than "decent.

Eli Manning is solid at QB - not so sure about Brees - so a little weak maybe. Some top dog LB and DB - servicable DL. Winslow I think will be a stud at TE. Running backs - boom or bust - Morency will be the man man in Houston until Dom Davis comes back. This is Foster's year to stay healthy. If my RB's can do what they are capable to do I will be in the running!

Just my "rose colored" glasses look at my own team

Johnson and Holt would tend to make your WR corps better than decent, very good might be a better descriptor. However, if you are counting on Edwards to give you any significant production you will be disappointed, further...you may want to temper your exhuberance over a rookie WR.

Manning is serviceable but questions remain. I kept him in a keeper league because I am hopeful he reaches consistency this year, and perhaps becomes something of a star next year.

Winslow was a wasted pick, will give you next to nothing this year.

"Morency is the man", I really dont think I need to comment back on that one, it stands on its own  You better pray every night that Foster stays healthy if you want to get into the playoff picture.

If you think Mike Martz is a moron that you have no clue what the hell you're talkin abut dude......

I can see if you said when he was a HEAD COACH he didn't make the best decisions, and he couldn't manage a game to save his a$$.... I would have accepted that, but to call one of the greatest offensive coordinators/minds in the game a moron.... that's just feeble minded thing to say...
