sa37no1 0 Posted August 28, 2006 Go Back Back.. there are alot of quality Wr's to be had later... Look For guys Like Portis if he falls, Rudi, Stephen Jackson,Lamont, Caddy or Ronnie brown http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=225421
FBH ** 0 Posted August 28, 2006 If it is a redraft league, you almost have to take 2 RB at the turn, because you will not find that quality later on, but there is plenty of potential at the WR spots. Please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=225574
templeheels 0 Posted August 28, 2006 Drafting 10th out of 10 this year is the best spot on the board this year other than 1-3 - you're basically assured of getting two of the following - E. James/S. Jackson/Ronnie Brown/Rudi Johnson/Caddy/Portis/Lamont Jordan. That's a very solid RB tandem. You need to draft two RBs in this slot - no question (unless Peyton miraculously falls this low). gphil 0 Posted August 28, 2006 You must go RB-RB. Even if Manning is there (I know I'll catch heat for this one.) Go with the absolute best, healthy, high workload back you can get, and then take one that actually catches the ball like Westbrook or Jordan. Just my opinion. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=225634
Matt mcgahee 0 Posted August 28, 2006 I agree with what is already said. You have to go 2 RBs here. Especially because you will definitely be getting 2 of these: Rudi Johnson/Cadillac/Portis/Edge/Steven Jackson/Ronnie Brown/Lamont Jordan....all of whom are sure thing RBs at this point. I drafted 14th in a 14 team league and went RB/WR because at 14/15 I didn't like the prospect of taking Mcgahee and Westbrook, or something similar. But if any of the aforementioned guys had dropped to 14, I would have definitely taken 2 backs. Being that you're guaranteed 2 of them, I say take 2. As far as your third/fourth pick, definitely take at least one WR here, maybe even two if you're not liking the RB selection. It might be risky to go 2 WRs at this point, but the payoff could be huge later on, especially with your 2 strong starting backs. Good luck. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=225637
Smol0028 0 Posted August 28, 2006 With the 10th pick....go RB RB, fromt here who knows....proably wr, wr or wr/rb....it's hard to say because you don't know what people will be taking but for sure RB RB with your first 2....if theres a run on wr starting when you pick your 3rd and 4th....go wr wr mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=225647
PatsGirl 0 Posted August 29, 2006 I had the exact same issue I drafted Back,Back, WR,QB,Back....then I tried to alternate to fill in other positions to the best of my ability Here are the results http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=224443
kbtegp 0 Posted August 29, 2006 Its a 10 team league, so RB isnt quite as thin. That said, you'd be foolish not to go RB, RB with your first two picks. (assuming you must start two). You can always pick up a WR. I'd go RB, RB, WR, then greatest value from there. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=225825
