mg_grievous 0 Posted September 2, 2006 With Branch and Givens out, I see Brady relying on Watson A LOT. I'd go for it. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=227538
Football Fan 20 2 Posted September 2, 2006 watson, and I think he is the safer pick. With Glenn and Owens in Dallas I think he'll see less balls his way. Take watson and run. check mine out http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=227543
sharkie22 0 Posted September 2, 2006 I don't think I'd do this trade as it is spelled out. I think LJ will do fine for you (better than Witten for sure) and if your league starts two WR you don't really need to lose two decent bye week receivers and a RB just to get Burress. In fact, Bennett may very well come close to Burress since Givens seems to be in hamstring hell. You've got a pretty good team and the only trades I'd look at if I were you would be to package two of your backs for a stronger #2 if that situation should present itself. clace1987 0 Posted September 2, 2006 First off no one drafted D. Davis in my league and when i drafted Lundy and Barber they were the only backs even decent left on the board, as for ur team i would take a chance on watson...i wanted him in my league but he was taken in the 7th rd. so i "settled" for t. gonzalez lol but yea watson for sure in my opinion. Kam187 6 Posted September 2, 2006 I think Watson will have a huge season with or without Branch. Brady connects with well. With TO in Dallas and Glenn, I am not sure Whitten is a safe pick. I would definetly go with Watson and it will pay dividends. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=227573

I'd do it and take Watson. He looks to be a stand out player this year. I've got him as my starting TE in my league. I've got Witten and Watson ranked together for my setup. Your taking a bit of a risk, but I think he will pan out.
BigDog 0 Posted September 2, 2006 I think alot of the guys here are making sense. Watson looks like a better choice every day, especially in the red zone.

Watson offers more upside than what you already have on your roster. Especially over Bennett, there some serious QB issues in Nasville right now! Good luck
