dcg 0 Posted September 2, 2006 Need some trade advice on the following: Give: F. Gore, D. Bledsoe, T. Houshmandzadeh Get: C. Palmer, J. Horn Gore is on my bench, Horn and Housh I view as fairly equal, so my starting lineup benefits from the addition of Palmer over Bledsoe, and with Horn I don't have QB/WR from the same team like I would with Housh. I realize I'm giving up more value, but I picked a ton of RBs in teh draft, and didn't grab a kicker, so I need to clear up a roster spot or I'll just have to drop someone. My starting RBs are Tiki, Bush, and C. Taylor (flex), with M. Bell, J. Norwood, W. Lundy, and D. Williams still on the bench. edit - leave a link and I'll be glad to answer your trade Qs. freighttrain 0 Posted September 2, 2006 i think it is a no brainer. I would do it like you said Palmer is a upgrade over bledsoe. Housh is solid but he also is a #2 on his team while Horn is the top dog in New Orleans. I look for Horn to bounce back this year there was so much going on in New Orleans last year and then he got hurt the season from the beginning didnt look good for him. Football Fan 20 2 Posted September 2, 2006 this is def. in your favor. I would take this trade and not look back. Palmer is an outstanding QB and I feel that in the preseason he showed that he has recovered from the knee. Too bad you have to give up housh, but you have to give to receive. Good luck and thanks for answering mine.
rbmod 0 Posted September 2, 2006 Take it and run. Trade looks good, if you have RB depth, you are gonna have to drop one anyhow to get your starting lineup filled. You will do well with this. Gore is a solid RB, but if you truely have depth - you shouldn't miss him.

waliguy 0 Posted September 3, 2006 Agreed with the previous. Palmer will really solidify your overall team. You don't need Gore either. mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=227749
COACHG137 0 Posted September 3, 2006 DO IT BEFORE HE SOBERS UP ! GOTTA LOVE A GUY WHO GETS HOOKED ON A PLAYER . I TRADED C. TAYLOR , H . MILLER AND LEINART FOR HARRISON , RHODES AND WARNER . GOOD LUCK !!
jwmatthews3 0 Posted September 3, 2006 It's a tough one. I am high on Palmer, so probably do it. But I believe Gore will be a mid range stud. I'm not sure you'll be starting Bush after a couple of weeks. I'd try to do something to hang on to Gore -- Norv Turner has caused more than one RB to thrive. ggroovy17 0 Posted September 3, 2006 I'd do this trade. The way Palmer has been looking, he could be the top QB again this year. Thanks for anwering mine.
Melvinbet 5 Posted September 6, 2006 I hope you pulled the strings. Palmer seems to be fine and should be a stud QB this year.
whatadai 0 Posted September 6, 2006 Everyone is underrating Bledsoe. Apparently everyone paid attention to Palmer in the preseason but not Bledsoe who threw 33 completions for 44 attempts for 425 yds for 3 TDs and 1 INT for a rating nof 118.1.Tony Romo, the backup, did pretty well too. Of course you can use the excuse that its preseason but you can use that for C. Palmer too. Even though Palmer is my favorite player right now, I would say no to the trade. You don't have enough depth at RB to lose Gore in my opinion. If you need a kicker drop Norwood.
