Trade up from #4 overall pick to #3?

I get his #3 overall and 3rd rounder #27.

 

Basically, I'd lock up Tomlinson (or maybe even SA) and still have two early 3rd round picks (#27, #28)

 

Would you do it???

I'd TOTALLY do it. There is SUCH a drop-off from 3 to 4 (and 4 to 5)!

I agree, I'd do it also, as you said you would score either LT or SA. IF Portis didn't get injured this preseason I would have doubts, but since his shoulder is F'ed up and there is a big drop to the next RB I'd say do it.

I like the trade, with the drop off after the big three you will still be in great shape.

I would certainly do it. The difference between one of the big three and the next guy is large enough to justify the difference between 21 and 27.
