Who's the better Wk 1 start at RB?

Reuben Droughns, CLE (vs. NO)

 

K. Jones has more talent, but Droughns is playing against a weaker run defense. And something tells me Martz is going to go pass-happy in his first game w/ the Lions. I dunno, just a hunch.

Seahawks have a great D again this year, don't be surprised to see DET throw a lot. Saints are just plain terrible so I would get used to start playing anyone verus them.

I think Kevin Jones is a higher risk/reward for you here. He was a-w-f-u-l last year.. but Mike Martz may change that in a big way.

 

I would probably make this decision based on what kind of performance you need from the player. If you need a big showing, I would choose Jones. If you just need some average performance, I would choose Droughns.

I agree with most everyone else. Start Droughns. Detroit will probably be down early and forced to throw a lot. The Cleveland/NO game will probably feature a lot of running on both sides.
