DrGonzo 1 Posted September 7, 2006 The point is how many owners can afford to sit the RB they most likley took in the first rd.

jlbay 0 Posted September 7, 2006 I don't see your point I think his point is that with some of these running backs FF teams won't have an acceptable alternative. I see you have R. Brown, are you thinking about sitting him in favor of Gore or Barlow because Sportsline has recommended sitting him? These RBs are relatively high picks if not first rounders, so they are heavy investments and for some leagues/teams they represent their "studs". Isn't the golden rule in FF for setting your roster is never sit your studs?

iceblumist610 0 Posted September 7, 2006 Would starting Willie Parker ahead of Ronnie Brown count as benching my studs?
Savage Beast 1 Posted September 7, 2006 The point is how many owners can afford to sit the RB they most likley took in the first rd. Exactly. And most defenses are unpredictable year to year, so even though it may look like a stud RB has to face a good defense, does not mean he will be shut down by said defense. You get the stud fantasy player label for a reason, and the reason is a player puts up consistant numbers no matter his oponent.
throttlers 0 Posted September 7, 2006 If you don't believe in your 1st round pick enough to play him every week, except for a bye or an injury, then you probably should have drafted someone else.
Killer Elite 0 Posted September 7, 2006 Bah Pit is cursed after selling their soul to beat the Seahawks in the Superbowl last year. So start Brown. Tonight Pit will be blown out. I can feel it.
D'ohmer Simpson 0 Posted September 7, 2006 Sportsline is Retarded, A few of the RBs they recommned you sit this week No, people that listen to one and only one source, or who can't make up their own minds about who to start and sit, are retarded.

I don't even come to the board anymore for news or advice, it's purely entertainment value now.
muzz 0 Posted September 7, 2006 They also say Warner is a "Subpar" QB for the most part. How many QBS are better than Warner in his situation? He's a top 10 QB in that offense IMO, yeah, he could get hurt, but so can everyone else. Some of the stuff I read is just dumb..........
Acerun 0 Posted September 7, 2006 CBS is so stupid... I mean at least fftoday has ronnie brown ranked 21st at rb.
