Been offered a trade....Will respond to all

Recommended Posts

This guy needs a QB since he has Bledsoe and Pennington. I have McNabb as my starter and Bulger is my backup and my wr's are R.Moss, Chambers and Mason, so essentially McNair would be my backup and I would add Stallworth to my wr core for depth. I think it's a pretty fair trade I just ask myself why would I do this. To me it seems I'm just making a trade for the sake of it but then I think it kind of improves my depth more. Any thoughts. Leave a link and I'll get yours.

I'd make that trade. McNabb looks sharp and McNair is should be a decent backup. Before I'd accept, I'd try and package Bulger and one of your wr's and try and get a better wr. Who knows how Stallworth will end up this year. I had last year and the year before. He had some big games and some where he didn't really show up.

McNabb is your starter for the majority of the season, so you are looking for a bye week filler, and McNair is more than adequate for that. Stallworth is a tough read right now, I would not expect the numbers he put up in week one every week, but he should be a solid player. I am always concerned when I am giving up fewer players than I am getting in return, you are usually giving up quality for quantity.

The question you have to ask yourself is: Is it worth it to me to help this other manager make his team better? That is what it comes down to, IMO. Because when you play him, if Bulger blows up, you will probably be kicking your self for making the deal.

Thanks for mine.

Adding Stallworth to a crew of Moss, Chambers and Mason you are going to be pulling your hair out every week trying to pick who to play. But I guess you can really play matchups. Mcnair is a solid backup. I would do it.

Depending on the rest of your team I'd say it's a fine trade. I would just look to see if you might be able to get a RB for Bulger if you could.

I'm sorry, but I'm not sold on McNabb just yet. The Houston Texans has a weak defense so I feel that he really hasn't been tested yet. I like Bulger. He's accurate and not prone to mistakes like McNabb is known for. The only quesdtion mark I have is the adaption to the new offense he's in. The stakes are'nt high so the trade might not be so bad. I just hate to see people making week 1 mistakes.

Do it. You're trading a backup for a backup and a potentially solid WR2. I agree to an extent with the guy who said he's not sold on McNabb because he played against the Texans, but McNabb will be an every week starter who will give you 250 and at least one TD a week. Bulger's system has changed and he might be a shell of his former self.

I'd do it. McNair looks in good form and could easily outperform Bulger this year if he stays healthy. Stallworth is a nice addition. I don't expect a lot from Bulger this year. Since McNabb is your starter anyway, yo uare trading A bench player for a WR that may actually see some time in your starting lineup.

I'd do it. You can double up on points with McNabb/Stallworth. McNabb will be looking for Stallworth all year. McNair is a nice backup to have, not as durable as Bulger, well maybe not, Bulger has his share of injuries as well. McNair benefits from a better O-line than in years past as well so he may go the distance and he's not afraid to play hurt, especially late in the season. He always seems to perform well even when he's hurting. He is a fierce competitor.
