Trey5 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Portis @ Cowboys Bush @ Packers Gore home v Rams I'm thinkin Gore is a must start, but I'm not sure who I like between Portis and Bush this week Any help is appreciated and if you leave a link I'll return the favor.
Beef Ravioli 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Gore is obvious, but #2 is hard! Hmmm - I'm going to gamble and say Bush is going to break a big one for a TD this week. Good luck on the call! Thanks for mine!
manola 0 Posted September 14, 2006 That is a tough one. Gore is a good choice for #1. For your #2, I think I'd go with Portis. Bush's role still isn't well defined. He could break a long one for a TD, but so could Portis. Portis is likely to get more chances, so I think he's the safer pick. Of course, either guy could have a huge game any given week. Brownsfan21 1 Posted September 14, 2006 Portis (of course watch injury report). Bush in a yardage/pt per reception type league. I expect to Portis play an even more limited role this week kind of similar to last game where he came in in the Red Zone. If they get a lead I expect him to sit. His workload last week was a result of it being such a close game. I dont really think the Redskins want him getting that shoulder banged up more than it is but if you are looking for a TD he is your guy this week.
BigBlue3 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Portis. When he was in the game last week he looked very solid and I see him getting more touches this week. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=232549
jaydawg-vt 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Gore definitely must start, #2 would depend on health/plan for Portis this week. I'm hearing some rumbling about TJ Duckett and the Redskins lack of productivity in the red zone that makes me lean a little weary of CP this week. My guess is the skins will still be trying to ease CP back into the rotation and TJ might cut down in the looks CP will get near the GL. Bush is going against my woeful packers D so probably bush right now. However, if CP has no injury worries, and looks to take bulk of carries, then Clinton it is. Clear as mud eh? Thanks for answering mine.
NuttyIrishman 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Gore (a given) and I would be willing to gamble with Bush. In week one, the Pack had issues with stopping the dumps to RBs. Look for Bush to break 1 or 2 for very long gains or a TD. The motto for this week is............... Never let your Bush touch the bench.
mkuz 0 Posted September 14, 2006 i think i would go portis and gore as well. bush would be a gamble but hey maybe your balls are bigger than mine.

I don't necessarily "buy the hype" on Gore - But I know of all my backs, he's the only one that is getting EVERY touch and he's playing a D that gave up 161 yards on the ground last week. I appreciate the opinion though
kellyaucoin 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Gore & Portis. although im a Deuce owner so in the back of my mind i keep praying that Bush wont totally dominate the NO offense. that said i still think Portis is your man. more touches and he couls easily break a couple long ones as well. see mine; http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...13&t=232212
