Tiki for Alexander

i was offered tiki barber and chris chambers for shaun alexander. since im a giant fan im going to be biased toward tiki and need some other peoples opinions. i have tomlinson and juluis jones as my other rbs as well as chad johnson, donald driver, derrick mason, and aquan boldin as my other wideouts. i took a gamble getting alexander and he hasnt even played for me yet. please someone help and let me know what i should do with this trade.

I think I'd actually do that one... even once Alexander comes back he is not going to be the back that he was last year (not 100%, worse line, madden curse??).... plus it's always fun to have guys from your fav team on your fantasy squad... chambers could be a decent pickup as well

If it isn't a keeper league I would consider it because who knows is SA will return to form this season....but if it is a keeper I would stay away as the duo of LT and SA can win championships

Not sure I would pull the trigger - Chambers has been a huge disappointment with the MIA QB problems this year. That being said, and given the WR's you listed, Chambers would probably sit your bench more often than not. So in sum it is really Tiki for SA. In a keeper league you defintely hang onto SA and even if not I think SA's late year production will be at least comparable to Tiki's No TD's per game.

first off ur team is stacked. but i would do this trade esp in PPR leagues with Tiki. Chambers has struggled but he did this last year and then all of sudden broke out at the end of the season.

 

 

bottom line ur trading damaged goods for a healthy Tiki and Chambers who have great potencial.

Since it is a PPR league, do not do the trade. You got the best RB situation i have ever since on fftoday. With Shaun, LT and jones running for you, others will loose easily. Also, atleast two of these backs will be playing when you r in the playoffs.

 

I got chambers with me and i am dreading why he was my 5th round pick. I was hoping for a big season for CPep and so chambers. You have chad johnson and anquan boldin. These guys can easily give match winning games.

i would stick with what you have. i could see jacobs possibly stealing some goalline carries. but i guess they have been saying that to tiki for years.

I'd do it. Alexander hasn't been the same this year even when he was healthy who know how he'll come back. Plus with Chambers you might be able to filp him and Mason for another (ie better) WR. If nothing else you're getting the Giants primary weapon (coming from an Eagles fan) and a steady WR in Chambers.

this is a pretty good trade for u, its basically tiki for shaun and a wr with huge potential and if harrington plays well, chambers should benifit. Im assuming the guy is offering chambers becasue he counting on harrington crappin the bed..

i would do it...

1. ur a giant homer so u will enjoy watching tiki.

2. i think SA is done...hard to come back from fractured bone and produce like he did last year...JMO

As a giant fan myself, I'd do it. Tiki will get more touches since Coughlin realized last week the way to win games is to run the ball. SA is great obviously but how healthy will he be all season with his stress fracture in his foot? Also, the loss of Hutch hurts the OLine. Do it, or try to get a little bit of an upgrade over Chambers

Stay with SA. He'll be good through the 2nd half and let me tell you, after week 11, Jacobs is going to be spelling Tiki big time.

Id do it - your RB lineup is already stacked and SA is just taken up space. And who knows how well he will come back.

As a Steelers fan, I'd probably do it. I would prefer a better receiver than Chambers, however I think he will come around now that Harrington with more mobility is in there. I don't like the fact that SA is coming off an injury of a cracked bone in his foot, I don't think his cuts will be as effective and will tend to favor the injury making him hesitate a little at the line. JMO. I think Tiki will be ok but you still have that goal line thing going on with Jacobs. All that said, I'd probably pull the trigger being comfortable starting Tiki every week if you need him, than biting my nails to see if SA will be the same.

As you know, I just got Tiki myself. However, keep Alexander. Tiki can "help" you win games. Shaun Alexander will flat out win you games by himself later in the year. If you could get a better WR, then I'd do it. Chambers has sucked.

yeah, just keep your lineup as-is. tiki doesnt have a TD on the year, and i think alexander will be better once he comes back. as he said, jacobs gets a lot of the GL carries

be slowed by injury.

Chambers is a nice bonus

if Miami can get their house in order.

If you need a WR then I would do it. If not then don't and I would keep Alexander.
