SHOCKEYGUY80 0 Posted October 11, 2006 id do it. rothlesburger should come around and i think caddy will start producing more than he was in the first few weeks and evans is the #1 guy there and gets more looks than furey does in detroit. as for what ur giving up i think jordans a lost cause, not because hes bad but because oakland is just terrible, and leinart for ben is a good exchange. please look at mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=242566

jnatale 0 Posted October 11, 2006 Yea, get it done. Big ben is struggling this year but will be better later in the year. Evans is solid, i have him too. Furrey is over-rated as he got hot quick but will cool considerably. see mine please: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=242683
mlb1234 0 Posted October 11, 2006 I think its an Ok trade to do - - I think you upgrade at all 3 positions in my opinion.
bobpate17 0 Posted October 11, 2006 I disagree with other posts. you don't need big ben. caddy has health and o-line problem. and L evans is #1 in his team. thanks for mine
enoto 0 Posted October 11, 2006 I'm not sure on this one. Leinhart did well against a tougher KC D in his first start, Fitz out hurts him for a few weeks but johnson looks good as a fillin, Caddy has been bad, don't know if he'll come around and Furrey is a good "Wayne" type receiver (not saying he is as good as Wayne, but saying with Roy getting the coverage Furrey is a good #2 WR for Det.) I would not do it, just don't start leinhart this week against the Bears Thanks for mine
Beyond Chaos 75 Posted October 11, 2006 Would McCallister for Leinart straight up be a better trade? Thanks for the above replies... still leave a link...
Ponyboy 0 Posted October 11, 2006 How many RB's do you start? You are set at QB. I like Lee Evans best out of all the players mentioned. Do you have to make the trade???
Morphitrix 0 Posted October 11, 2006 Saying things like "Roethlisberger will come around" and "Furrey is over-rated...he'll cool considerably" are just speculation. In my opinion, you're not getting anything out of trading Leinart for Roethlisberger. Jordan is pretty much worthless so you'd be improving with Caddy. Furrey's success may turn out to have been short lived. So that's 2/3 for me, and since the players you are trading for likely won't be in your ideal starting lineup, I'd say pull the trigger on this one.
Beyond Chaos 75 Posted October 11, 2006 2 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR i offered the 1st trade and the 2nd was offered to me, it's a 12 man league and starting QBs are rare point set up Pass: 20yds = 1pt, 300yds = bonus 5 pts, 6pts for TDs, -2 for Ints Rush/Rec: 10yds = 1pt, 100yds = bonus 5, 6 for TDs, -2 fumbles (QBs too) I don't need a 4th QB (knock on wood) but would like to have one for more trade bait or just in case. I also like the idea (not to be malicious) of keeping some who now need a QB potentially out of a playoff spot (unless they offer me a trade I like) by not trading a QB for another position. That way if i do need to fill another position I can fill someone else's need pushing the trade through. In the words of G. Dubbya, "heh, heh, heh, strategery"
bearphin 0 Posted October 11, 2006 I think it is a step up except for QB. If you are doing it for future trade bait, I think Leinart might have more than Roth, although I love the crash test dummy. The other two positions are a step up so I think you pull the trigger. Good Luck. Pleae help with mine
seh2000 5 Posted October 11, 2006 I disagree with other posts. you don't need big ben. caddy has health and o-line problem. and L evans is #1 in his team. thanks for mine I am not the biggest Evans fan, but I agree with this exactly. I would not do it. Big Ben will likely turn it around, but he is not a big producer as they run the ball ALL THE TIME... Thanks for mine: seh2000
Beyond Chaos 75 Posted October 11, 2006 Actually I would use Losman for trade bait since he is putting up better numbers and keep Roethlisberger (being a Steelers fan) on the bench unless Brees or Manning goes down. Thanks for answering above.
