Which Seattle WR to pick up?

Here's the situation: I've got Fitzgerald out with a bum hammy, B. Johnson got picked up off the WW already, and Driver is on a bye this weekend. So I've got to scrounge up a WR off the WW to fill in my WR3 spot. Seattle's got a pretty good match-up against St. Louis. I'm thinking it'll be a high-scoring affair. So I'm thinking of picking up either D. Branch or B. Engram. Which one is the better pick? Leave a link and I'll help you with yours. Thanks in advance!

Branch and Engram were both targeted 7 times each in their game before the break.

 

I can't imagine Holmgren not using the bye week to better incorporate Branch into the offense.

 

Not to mention the additional practice time that Hasselback and Branch have had to develop chemistry.

 

They made an significant investment in Branch...expect his role to increase and even explode!!

Branch would be the better option, Engram will mainly be used in the 4 reciever sets while Branch will be in the more likely 3 receiver sets that they use more of. I would imagine he will also get more looks from Hassel as well.

I quess I am in the minority with this. I would rather have Branch if that is all you are looking at. If not, who else is available? If Welker is avail, you might look at him, Booker is out with a shoulder injury, and he has been the true #2 so far this season. Also he has been targeted even more than Chambers. Furrey(sp) for Detroit has been looking consistant, he came from the Rams with Martz, and Martz likes him from what I have seen. These are just two, but with those four wr in Seattle, you never know who will get the throws from week to week. AKA NE. Unless, the one you choose scores a td on the day you start him, look for 2 - 8 pts on most days.

im a seattle homer and i gaurentee u branch will have the #'s ont he hawks squad by the end of the year. Branch even being on the ww is incredible. Pick him up asap

Thanks for the help. I was only looking at the Seattle WR's because I thought they would have the best match-up out of the WR's left of the WW. Wes Welker and Furrey have already been picked up weeks ago...both by my brother, coincidentally enough.

 

Other WR's available that don't have a bye include H. Baskett, G. Lewis, Michael Clayton, A. Battle, Mark Clayton, A. Randle El, and Rashied Davis. Slim pickin's, I know. Is anybody from this group better to pick up than Branch for this week?

I like Engram. But you gotta go Branch. If not for the fact that he'll be on the field more. He is a talent and the longer he is with the 'Hawks the better he will get. He'll be a nice play for you this week and has strong potential for the long term as well.

Baskett only till Donte returns, which could be this weekend, so, I would go with Branch.
