Alexander or L.Johnson

I have been offered S.Alexander for L.Johnson.

 

Alexander has the easier schedule but Johnson is healthier.

 

Who would you rather have down the stretch?

I would only if you get someone else you need (preferably at least a #2 RB) plus SA for LJ. LJ has been reliable this year while SA has not even at the beginning of the year.

i know johnson has not yet had the killer year we all thought he would but to just do a straight up trade makes no sense. Alexander has not done much and is possibly going to have an injury that could affect him the rest of the year. You need to get more back, or no way!

JOHNSON

 

1. LJ has been visually frustrated and his O-line is Avg.

2. He is likely to get banged up as well if he keeps carrying the rock this much and trying to creat his own holes.

3. The offense around him sucks.

4. Green injured and who knows how effective when he returns.

 

 

ALEXANDER

 

1. His foot will be healed and not linger

2. He will be chomping on the bit to get back in elite group upon return.

3. Easy scheduale.

4. Better offense

5. This offense has also struggled with him out and Holmgren knows it.

 

Tell the SA owner you'll make the trade next Tuesday.

LJ is struggling yet continues to produce weekly. In my league he's #2 behind Westbrook in FP. Straight up is not a good deal for SA. I've seen SA go for much less

I think the risk is too great to give up LJ for a hurt Alexander. Alexander is not superman. His numbers at the beginning of the season were average as well. You have to get a two for one if you're going to consider that.

These were a lot of the same reasons I was thinking of doing it... but many seem to think Alexanders foot and his Oline will slow him down.

Keep Johnson, no one is sure how the foot will heal once he gets back

i'd also hold onto johnson. if you want to realy spell the guy, grab morris if he's still there, SA's backup. i'm a firm believer that SA is on his trek DOWNHILL. LJ may not be the beast he was last season and yeah all reasons listed are valid, but if you cant get a decent return i'd shy away.
