ziggyschiefs 0 Posted October 13, 2006 with boldin facing chicago, i really think he'll be a dud this week. i'm leaning towards starting Turner against SF with lots of garbage time points. it's either that or cotchery vs. mia or furrey vs. buffalo both of which are not favorable matchups... am i crazy for thinking turner will do well in SF? or should i stick with my stud who could be a dud this week? kellyaucoin 0 Posted October 13, 2006 i think youve gotta stick with Boldin. your other options arent strong enough to merit sitting him. good luck. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=243652
bunnerjk 0 Posted October 13, 2006 I say play Turner in your flex position for this week. He might get almost as many carries as LT this week and is likely to get a TD. Boldin will probably have about 75 yds. but I don't know if he will find the end zone against Chicago!!!!!
ziggyschiefs 0 Posted October 13, 2006 Yeah, it's in my flex spot. it's a tough call though...
SaintsInDome2006 441 Posted October 13, 2006 Don't bench Boldin.
Raider#34 0 Posted October 13, 2006 Sorry it took me so long to respond, thanks for the reply. I to am weighing the same matchup with Parker-Johnson. If I had Boldin instead of Johnson, I wouldn't be here. Start Boldin
Illini4evr 0 Posted October 13, 2006 Boldin will almost certainly not get the endzone against the bears defense. He may get the yards but should be benched. Turner is the safer and better bet against boldin unless your league rules benefit the WR more then the RB like mine (15 rush versus 10 pass per point). I know that people have a tough time benching a star caliber player but it should be done. Driver 96 yards 0 TD Roy W. 71 yards 0 TD Travis Taylor 82 yards 0 TD Darrell Jackson 62 yards 0 TD Lee Evans 94 yards 1 TD (only cause Benson fumbled in the last 2 min. which he shouldn't have done) And if you want to break it down further those receivers got those yards on few receptions meaning they had to work for them after the catch. gfischer17 0 Posted October 13, 2006 I sat Evans last week in chicago, he had 95 yards and a td, and he doesn't see half the looks boldin does. Plus they'll be playing from behind. Start him. see mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=243810

The only touchdown a WR has had on the Bears was due to a last minute fumble when the Bears were trying to run out the clock. Also, evans has a TTA of 9.4 versus Boldin who has an averge of 9.0 so Evans actually gets more looks then Boldin.
PoSSoM 0 Posted October 13, 2006 What if your options are Furrey, Isaac Bruce, and Boldin? (start 2) (I traded Fitz last week for Addai after first being offered for Boldin;) What about Boldin, Burress, A Johnson, and Az-Z? (start 3) Can I sit Boldin in these situatuations?
