Cuse9 129 Posted October 14, 2006 Which would you rather have? You would have Torry Holt as your #1 WR....you have to start three WR's and one TE! Steve Smith, Javon Walker, Dallas Clark or Amani Toomer, Donald Driver, Tony Gonzalez I made so many trades this week I lost track! I have the first group, now I'm thinking it may not have been the right move! Leave a link or simply reply and I'll help you......later

nosferatu9368 0 Posted October 14, 2006 Smith, Walker & Clark by far... TGon isn't being targeted nearly as much as he used to, Toomer has 2 good games a year and Driver is fine but he don't get in the end zone enough. You made out good... Good Luck Here's Mine, thank you http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=244105 Peace...
bobpate17 0 Posted October 14, 2006 I like #1 better. clark is little concerning but gonzo is not doing that great either. toomer is #2 in his team, driver is good and will bounce back but S. Smith and walker are both #1 in their team and better than toomer and driver. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=244118
AlexPatt 0 Posted October 14, 2006 You made the right move. The first group is way better. Here's mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=244119
deadrebel 0 Posted October 14, 2006 First of all, this is closer than people are making it out to be. Dont be blinded by the names...look at the numbers. Toomer is far from being "straight trash". He is currently a top ten WR in all of my leagues. Taking a look at the stats I see Toomer scoring 14.7ppg, while Steve Smith is only one tenth of a point better at 14.8ppg. Driver is putting up 11.0ppg vs Walker's 13.3 so the edge at WR goes to the Smith/Walker combo, but not by too much. I will say that it is more reasonable to expect Smith to keep performing at this level than Toomer, so factor that in also, but dont forget to also factor in how much improved Eli Manning is this year. On to the TE's...Gonzalez has been outscoring Clark by a couple points per game and that gap will probably grow even wider as Trent Green returns. Final numbers: (using 1pt for 10 rec/rush yds, 6pts TD, 0.5ppr) Smith/Walker/Clark - 34.1ppg so far. Toomer/Driver/Gonzalez - 33.8 ppg so far. So you can see that actual production has been nearly identical for the two groups. I would go with the first group due to upside of S Smith, but I would also be looking to upgrade TE. Good info.....that is my biggest fear, Green comes back and starts hitting Gonzo like he did in the first game and Clark continues to be so sporatic....yikes!! Thanks for the reply! AnaheimRams 28 Posted October 14, 2006 I think you did well, but I agree that this isn't so lopsided. The difference maker, I think, is going to be Driver. I was way big on him this pre-season and own him in all leagues (Holt as well ). Lots of things are happening that are starting to worry me. Jennings... K rob... The drops... GB not getting totally blown out lately... etc. I think some combination of the many concerns with Driver are going to start bringing his production down. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=244129

prostollo 0 Posted October 14, 2006 While I think it is closer than most people are seeing it. I think the upside of Smith gives this to group
