What is the deal? 1 Posted October 16, 2006 I started off 0-6 and won my league last year (when LJ took over)...of course we qualify 8 of 12 for the playoffs so it wasn't that hard to get in.
Razorback Fan 0 Posted October 16, 2006 My absolute first trial by fire team went 1-0, then lost 9 straight, then I got the hang of it and finished 3-9. Next two years I ran the board, no problems. Changed leagues now with new scoring rules and currently am 3-3.

kutulu 1,563 Posted October 16, 2006 One year (the year Levens broke his leg early) I got 1 win all year. During the playoffs all the non playoff teams played against each other, cept there was no lineup...just total team points for two weeks. I won that and got 3/4 of my league fees back so there was a tiny silver lining.

chiz3 1 Posted October 16, 2006 I feel for you. Last year....ONE FU(KIN WIN. My team was good. My rb's were LJ and Dunn! We all have these type of years at least once, regaurdless of what people are telling you. I went from first to worst and this year Im 4-1 lookig good for a fifth win tonight(hopefully). I tried to trade away everyone last year, but no one was biting. I offered LJ and the trade was rejected. Guess what, the poor bastard finished second. yeah he did better than I did, but you know how it goes, everyone thinks their team is great. Try a few trades, if nobody bites....shut it down, esp. if your league charges $ for transactions. Good Luck dude, years like your really suck. And just think, next year can only get better! itsbigmoni 1 Posted October 16, 2006 1-5 right now. QB's - Carr, Plummer (he's getting dropped, any suggestions on who to pick up?) RB's- Edge, FWP, jamal lewis ( i thought lewis would regain form considering he's only 26 and 3 years removed from 2,000 yards) WR's- Chambers, D. Mason, McCarddel TE- Ben Watson Def-philly and ATL i've made a few trades so my team doens't look the exact same anymore pluss i picked up Colston but my team is full of big names small stats. Reunion with mcnair was suppose to mean 1,000 yard season. C-pep to chambers? Tom Brady hyped up ben watson all pre-season saying he was a hard worker, they have chemistry blah blah blah. I drafted 9th and i knew fwp would be there on the way back so i basicaly had to take edge at 9. Rudi, ronni, sjax, clinton, were all gone at the 9 spot. After the draft i couldn't have been happier. 3 RB's that'll get 1000+ and 8+. 3 WR that will get 800+ and 8+. I figured ben watson was good for 10 TD's with that depleted WR corp. Its gotten to the point where i can't wait till stokely comes back and right now im starting malcom floyd.
delusional247 0 Posted October 16, 2006 worst: 2004 7-10 knocked out the playoffs by the team with the least points for on the season, except he scored a league record high for points that week ( which is a 6yr old league this year ) best: 2003 13-3 won league 2nd year in a row my team was sick

grandad 0 Posted October 17, 2006 About to go 1-5. A couple close ones, including a one point loss. QB: Rex, Eli RB: Rudi, Edge, Morris, Jordan WR: Driver, R.Brown, Johnson, Bennett, Colston TE: Witten K:Vinatieri and ww pickups D: ATL and ww pickups Made a couple bad choices. I started Grossman tonight. Ugh. But for my fellow 1-5, or 0-6 players, we can go back to actually rooting for our TEAMS, and not spending Sunday with the Stattracker. nicewolf64 0 Posted October 17, 2006 My first year, I started 0-7. Ended up 8-9 and the highest scoring team in the league. Last year started 1-3 and won it all. This year started 1-4, but should win this week.
lagarzlebrew 0 Posted October 17, 2006 I have been in the same league with buddies over the past 9 years. My worst season was in 1999 when I was 4-9. Meserable year. cubbie5150 0 Posted October 17, 2006 My worst record was in my 11 year-old 12 team redraft league in 2002 when I went 5-9. Devastated by injuries that year. makes for a loooong season.

Guest ramrock11 Posted October 17, 2006 12 man league, 2nd highest points in the league ( by 50) Record 2-4. was 1-4 until yesterday, but in our league the first tie breaker is points scored so with that being said i just have to win a few games and watch the teams ahead of me lose a few and i'm back in the hunt.
