Sux2butoo 0 Posted October 18, 2006 Mason, Welker, D. Carter or T. Brown, whose the better #3 I am sitting Holt and Muhammad with wavers and have A. Johnson and Br. Johnson needing a 3rd. I include Mason because he is available despite the bye week and my league is so tight that a player needs to be scooped up ASAP. Thanks for the advice
ggroovy17 0 Posted October 18, 2006 That is rough, but i'd say go with Mason.
ruptured groin 0 Posted October 18, 2006 I think I would take Welker vs. GB... Check to see if Matt Jones is floating around on your wire. He would be a flyer, but this could be the weekend that he breaks out -- post-bye coming off an injury... your thoughts? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=245096
Sux2butoo 0 Posted October 18, 2006 Yeah, Matt Jones is held up by others..... too many teams means all WRs are picked clean I was thinking Welker, but he had a less than admirable showing last week and was the #3 receiver on his own team I only wish I knew that Brown or Gabriel would get the looks over the TEs in NE..... would make it easier to pick and choose Mason is a great player on a team which has no offense to speak of. Hell, Clayton is getting more love than he is and I have yet to see a time where he gets the looks he deserves. Any other ideas for sleepers is GREATLY APPRECIATED (thats how I snatched up T. Henry)
Candygram4Mongo 8 Posted October 18, 2006 I'd go with Troy Brown. Pats usually have good days against Buffalo. Welker is close, but it seems like there's a new #1 guy every week down in Miami. Mason might be better than either of those, but does nothing for you this week if you have a spot to fill. see mine pleez http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=245165
Mattygoesinya 0 Posted October 18, 2006 mason has a bye this week, i got matt jones rotting on my bench so i hope this week he can play, not looking good.. but i would agree with the dude above me is right with brown

Thanks for the advice I would have to say Mason or Welker---Mason is somewhat of a #1, so I would say go w/him...On the other hand, J Harrington loves to get rid of the ball early than sit in the pocket so Welker at the slot might be a good pick also....Sorry for no definite, but see if that helps Thanks 4 mine
Fiasco 0 Posted October 18, 2006 I'd go with Welker - not just because I am a Dolphins fan (pity me...) but because in their ever changing world down there he seems to keep showing up on the radar. Not a huge amount of yards but better than the big 0 Mason got last week!
