sturbo 0 Posted October 19, 2006 I just have a bad feeling that an inevitable blowup is coming, and when Fitz gets back his schedule is much easier on paper.. including week 16 against SF
shotsup 832 Posted October 19, 2006 thats also tough, although I dont think TO is going to catch TDs like he did last week and I also like LF's week 16 matchup, I saw that when I was thinking about my trade for Boldin (as you answered TY) Mine - for others
nosferatu9368 0 Posted October 19, 2006 I'd do it 'cuz you have good enough WR's to cover you until Fitz gets back, which I hope is soon probably week 9. I agree the blowup for TO cant be far away... Good Luck Peace. Thanks for answering mine...
yarn19 0 Posted October 19, 2006 Tough trade... really depends on what Fitz does when he comes back and when he does.... I guess if you really think he's going to blow up (i am not so sure) then I would try to get as much as you can... Going with you other WR's until then is not that bad of an option.... I would probably keep TO

Gatorclan3 0 Posted October 20, 2006 Not only would I say do it...BUT I ALREADY DID IT! I traded away Owens and Jordan FOR Fitz and Caddy. I have the Johnsons and Holt to cover for me until Fitz is ready to go!

Melvinbet 5 Posted October 20, 2006 Just say "NO" to "T.O." Wait it out with Fitz. Things just seem incredibly weird in Dallas right now. It's like everyone was ordered by Jerry Jones to accomodate Owens. Thanks 4 mine!
bauman88 0 Posted October 20, 2006 I'd rather have Fitz see me http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=245871
mambokings 0 Posted October 20, 2006 I can't believe what I'm reading. T.O. is fantasy gold and you want to give him away for a cripple? I'll grant you that T.O. isn't in San Fran or Philly, but Fitzgerald is? Wow, are you forgetting that Owens missed training camp and then broke his finger? He's only now beginning to get his timing with Drew Bledsoe and you saw the obvious results this past Sunday. QB-WR timing is everything, just ask Peyton Manning how he feels about Marvin Harrison. Owens is going to continue to get better and better situated in the offense and he's a tremendous talent on the field. Meanwhile, on the other hand, you've got a WR in Fitzgerald who's hurt and playing on a team with no playoff aspirations. He won't be returning before Week 10 and beyond that it's anyone's guess how he responds after the first injury of his career. Leinart will have had weeks to develop timing with everyone else, and that leaves ol' Larry playing catchup. If you want to trade T.O. I won't fault you, but don't settle for a guy who's hurt and even when healthy this season not living up to expectations. Aim higher, if you must, especially since T.O. is coming off a massive 3 TD performance.
