Brown Growler 0 Posted October 20, 2006 Who to start alongside LT2? Westbrook against Tampa Bay or Tatum against Cleveland? Leave a link!
Killer B's 0 Posted October 20, 2006 Tough to bench Westbrook, but I think Bell is due for a monster week against Cleveland.
nocarbs 0 Posted October 20, 2006 Westbrook, everyone has run on tampa bay this season.
Madler 6 Posted October 20, 2006 I have almost the same dilemma. I have LT and Westbrook as well, but will play Westbrook. In my league, 1 pt for 10 yds running and 1 for 20yds receiving, with his TD's is the #2 RB in fantasy points this year behind LT. He didn't score last week v. Saints D at home which is underated. He is practicing more this week than the last 3, so I think he will have a big week running and receiving.

ozguy 0 Posted October 20, 2006 bell easyily will have a better day see me http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=245871 Bell. The Eagles will try to limit Westbrook until he is back to 100%
Young_Grasshopper 0 Posted October 20, 2006 I'd say Bell. Westbrook was limited last week, and Bell is an outstanding option against Cleveland. Please see mine: Lineup Questions
cdogge 17 Posted October 20, 2006 Hard to sit Westbrook. I would go with Westy...just because even if they are "resting" him I feel like he will still get a touchdown...don't know about Bell....denver's offense is a little shacky...
Byars41 0 Posted October 20, 2006 Westbrook too dangerous to bench. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...=246006&st=
Yahoo Wahoo 0 Posted October 20, 2006 That's a tough one in my opinion. Westbrook is definitely a starter and kept one team alive multiple times in my league. He's quality, for sure. Bell (I own him and will be starting him) doesn't have the skills Westbrook has in my opinion. He can run the ball ~25-26 times and still gets under 100 yrds. He's no Tiki. He does get the ball alot and is a safe bet to do well. But if you are playing a team where you need big points or no points, I'd go with Westbrook. If 15 points is going to do it for you (or 8) go for Bell. Bell is more consistent (he will get the ball) but Westbrook will score and get more receptions. I think Bell also has a great matchup this weekend. He should run over Cleveland, but I was expecting more from his last game and I didn't see it, just so you know. Conclusion: Bell. Confidence: 55% (exceptionally low). See mine, if you want: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=246013
jpen74 0 Posted October 20, 2006 I have LT and Westbrook. I would start Westbrook over Bell. Westy seems healthy>
biggspence1 0 Posted October 20, 2006 As fragile as westy has been this season it would be hard for me to start him. I think he will play but he wont take on the full load. I would go with Tatum because he will get most of the carries for Denver. see mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=246073
wave150 0 Posted October 20, 2006 I'd go with Tatum this week... even if Westy does have a solid outing he may be limited in touches http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=246084
andhraangel 0 Posted October 20, 2006 Play westbrook is he official starts. Otherwise play Bell. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=246085
lily 0 Posted October 20, 2006 Not an easy one.... Both TB and Clev suck against the run. TB allow very little to Rudi last week. Westbrook can be hot and cold but when hot he is burning hot. But, Tatum is very steady. Edge to Westbrook if healthy the offense is better... http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=246077
Wizzzzard 0 Posted October 20, 2006 Very tough call, but I would go Westy the offense he is on is much more potent than Denvers. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=246090
whahaa 0 Posted October 20, 2006 like others have suggested, go with TATUM if you need solid points and some certainty. go with WESTY if you need big points and it's worth the risk. westbrook has that nagging knee problem and the eagles will be utilizing him less cuz they don't want him to get hurt again. that doesn't preclude the possibility of a long TD reception though. tatum is the best part of a struggling offense, which means he will be getting the carries and the yards no matter what. mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=246094
WindyCitySportsFan 0 Posted October 20, 2006 Based on numbers alone I go with Westbrook. The Broncos offense hasn't been wonderful. This does mean bell will get carries against a weak Browns team but Denver is scoring 12.4 points per game which is third worst in the league. On the other hand, the Eagles have the third best points per game in the league. Both opposing defenses are equally as poor against the run. I've always heard Westbrook has been a tough runner. Even if he does lag a bit this week I think LT will make up for it.
