I'm a lock to make the playoffs and I'm looking further on down ther road to weeks 14-16 at matchups, etc. and I'm thinking about trading Tiki Barber for Chester Taylor and Willis McGahee...Does this look like a good trade?? My lineup is as follows:

 

QB Phillip Rivers, Trent Green

RB Larry Johnson, Tiki Barber, Marion Barber

WR Terrell Owens, T.J. Houshmanzadeh, Reggie Brown, Marques Colston, Lee Evans

TE Jeremy Shockey

K Adam Vinatieri

DST Broncos, Patriots

I'd stick with the team you have. Tiki is going to finish strong, since this season is the end of his career most likely.

Nope only two...and I never pull Tiki and L.J. I was looking further down the road and for insurance purposes in case, God forbid, one of them gets hurt

I'd stick with what you have...you sound a lot like myself, always looking to improve, even if it's one of my teams that's is undefeated. The only reason I'd say to do it is if either Tiki or Larry were injury prone, which is obviously not the case. This may sound friggin' corny, but do you really want another back to choose from come Sunday morning?!?!? If you have more backs, you are more likely to stray from the studs that have both gotten you where you are, and can take you where you want to go.

i would ride that team to the playoffs. if youre looking to make a trade id suggest trading a wr or shockey in some kind of deal to upgrade your Qb situation. you have alot of good WRs and 2 top tight ends with colston being tight end eligable.

Is Colston TE eligible in your league?? He's not in mine- I just checked...that's weird...he doesn't even line up as a TE...in the slot...but not at TE...things that make you go hmmmm?? Thanks

In that case I wouldn't do it. You have 2 top 5 backs that should perform well regardless of the matchups. Remember Tiki's 185 yard day 2 weeks ago against the Falcons? At the time the Falcons had the #2 rush defense in the NFL. Last week he carved up what was supposed to be a solid Cowboys defense for another 100+ yard day. You are loaded at RB, no reason to trade unless you can bolster positions you are weak at.

I would make the deal if possible. I like Tiki, but Minn schedule for the playoff run pretty good. I also have some of your same WR. Yes there good, but Evans can be inconsistent and we'll see what Colstson does here in the 2nd half.
