just_want_2_win 0 Posted November 4, 2006 My roster: QB: Bulger, Kitna (start 1) RB: Tiki, Foster, M. Jones-Drew, Barber III, Lundy (2) WR: Boldin, Colston, Evans (2) TE: Des. Clark, McMichael (1) K: Andersen D/ST: Seahawks (for this week's match up then plan to pick up someone else) Should I try to get McGahee to be my #2? He's been disappointing this year -- only 1 TD and in my league 70 pts. to 68 for DeShaun Foster, my main #2 for the most of year. (Original backs after draft were Tiki, Foster, Jordan, Barber III). But McGahee's remaining schedule is favorable and Foster's been disappointing and has DeAngelo Williams coming back. Or should I stick with a #2 RBBC and rotate according to match ups? I know MJD has a nice schedule coming up and with Fred Taylor so fragile (though not this year) could be the man in JAX at any time. If I try for McGahee, who should I package? Here's the other owner's team: McNabb, Huard McGahee, Taylor, Bush, Jordan Andre Johnson, Wayne, Branch Heap, Dal. Clark Longwell Raiders, Vikings Foster and MJD perhaps, since MJD could handcuff Taylor?
DandyRandy 0 Posted November 4, 2006 Get McGahee. for Foster will be replaced by DeAngelo Williams next week or the week afterGo straight up.If you have to package anyone it sould be Lundy. see mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=250631
J.E.T.S.JetsJetsJets 0 Posted November 4, 2006 Foster and MJD perhaps, since MJD could handcuff Taylor? that's your best bet, I'd do it ASAP (maybe Sun night) so that he won't be picking up a dead bench spot which will make him more marketable. I'm with you on DFoster on the wane, and that is also the prevailing notion which probably makes a 2 for 1 necessary. You may have to throw in Kitna since Huard likely has another pair of starts... definately open the dialogue as you suggested though. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=250656
sb2232 0 Posted November 4, 2006 If you can swing a deal to get McGahee, do it. His schedule is very favorable down the stretch. What you have to give up makes it a little tougher. If you can get him for Foster and MJD, I say DO IT! Help appreciated: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=250638
ramblin'wreck 0 Posted November 4, 2006 I would prefer McGahee over Foster anyday .. you can try Foster for McGahee straight up, if the other guy wouldn't do it, then you sweeten the deal by adding Jones-Drew. Help me here.. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=250663
rottytiny 7 Posted November 4, 2006 I'd try to get McGahee but I can't see the other owner giving him up, his RB's are not real tough. If I was the other owner something like Foster and Jones-Drew for McGahee and ??? Throw some offers at him and see what happens. Good Luck.

Make a low ball offer for McGahee and then go as high as Foster + Lundy but don't give up MJD and Foster for a guy who's value isn't much better than Foster alone. Just b/c DeAngelo is getting healthy doesn't mean Foster's season is over.

dhartin 0 Posted November 4, 2006 tell u waht i would try, he has mcnaab on bye... kitna has high numbers, and is could be replaced for mcown as a change of pace....... try.... deshaun, kitna, evans....... for mcgahee and andre.... something of that nature.... colston and andre is a nice 1 -2 ... especially in yahoo where u can put colston at TE..... if he doesnt bite that, i would do the MJD, and deshaun for mcgahee, willis has an easy schedule down the stretch and will be a hott comodity when people start to realize..... i am not john clayton, but willis is a touch better than deshaun http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=250689
