catch15burns 0 Posted November 30, 2006 go with betts....he had a big game last week and taylor is banged up I like carolina against phi....with mcNabb out they should get a few picks http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=256938
carolina blue 0 Posted November 30, 2006 Betts, taylor is going against Chicago and is a little banged up. you probably can't go wrong with any of the defenses. The Panthers is the most intriguing, Philly is banged up and will probably quit.
-bp- 0 Posted November 30, 2006 Betts, Atlanta's D is pretty weak. Minnesota would be tempting if they had a better offense. They can shut down the run which will force Grossman to throw all game, that'll get you at least a couple of picks...but I don't think the offense can control the clock against the bears D. I'm leaning towards Oakland, they've had a couple good defensive games lately, and Houston's offense isn't going to do much against any team.
AIR it OUT 1 Posted November 30, 2006 I say betts and either Caro. or I think Oakland is going to surprise people. they held san diego in check for almost the whole game and did the same to KC the week before. please see mine
reversenext 0 Posted November 30, 2006 Betts! Taylor is questionable at this point so he must be a little banged up. On top of that he is going against Chicago!!!! Carolina against Garcia. He should be runnin for his life!
SaintsInDome2006 441 Posted November 30, 2006 Betts & Oak. Could use some advice myself, thanks. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=256494
slestack11 0 Posted November 30, 2006 I have Betts on my team so I'm a little biased against him, but I'd say always start your studs and Chester Taylor is a stud this year. The Bears D isn't totally unbreakable and Taylor doesn't split carries like Betts. At least not that I'm aware of. As far as D goes, I kindof like the Carolina D this week since their playing pissed right now after last weeks loss. BigDaddy1978 0 Posted November 30, 2006 If Taylor plays, go with him. Chicago is a force, but they're still been letting people run. Minnesota has that whicked O-line and Taylor, if he plays, will see around 30 carries. He'll probably even catch a few that Ladell Betts won't see. I'm thinking he'll get his yards, but won't see the endzone...there's always the possibility though, and I think he has more of a shot at it than Betts does. I think I'd go with Carolina. Seattle is the next choice, but Tatum Bell will most likely be back in this game, and I think Cutler will do better than most people think he will. Oakland can't be trusted to keep it together, and Minnesota is facing the Bears which just can't be predicted in any way. Thanks for responding to mine. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=256932
JKRAY 0 Posted November 30, 2006 everyone says Betts and Carolina, but they're wrong. Yes, Carolina's D will put up good points, but Jeff Garcia did really well last week, AND westbrook will always do great in that offense. They got weapons. Ladell Betts is too inconsistent, and is just not that good a back overall. Taylor is a beast of a back, and although banged up, he's been that way all season, but gets over it midway into the week. The Bears have given up good RB numbers despite having a great D, and Taylor is the centerpiece of the minnesota offense. Gotta play the stud. With D, you gotta start the Seahawks defense. The Broncos RB situation just isn't that good, the WR's are very inconsistent, and come on now, A ROOKIE QUARTERBACK MAKING HIS FIRST NFL START. All signs point to Seahawks. STEELERMAN 0 Posted November 30, 2006 I like Betts v. weak ATL D & CAR D against Philly. see mine please...thanks
cjsks 0 Posted November 30, 2006 Start your studs, Taylor and Carolina... http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=256999
rdub15 0 Posted November 30, 2006 gotta go w/ Taylor on this one, Betts is not consistent whatsoever. and that Carolina D should eat up sacks on Garcia. see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=257019
bunnerjk 0 Posted November 30, 2006 I would stick with Taylor, he's a machine. Betts is a crapshoot. I think Carolina's D is solid for this week. Thanks for mine!!!!
Fonzie2004 0 Posted December 1, 2006 Thanks for ansering my post. For what its worth, consider starting Taylor against the Bears knowing that Ronnie Brown ran through them for something like 151 yards and Tiki Barber did the same for 147 yards or so. Taylor is a stud RB, never bench your studs. I am personally starting the Raiders DEF this week (instead of the Giants). Not much else on the waiver wire and consensus in this forum is the Raiders will at least stack up Ok at home vs David Carr and the Texans (2nd straight road game). Beware the Panthers, they are up and down - who thought the Panthers would lose to the Redskins last week? Good luck
~Fantasy Girl~ 0 Posted December 1, 2006 I am in luck. The guy I am playing had Heap and Stover tonight. 3 total points!! I am leaning towards Taylor, since he will get 20+ touches. Even if he doesn't score he will still get 5 or 6 points (as long as he doesn't FUMBLE). All I have to do is counter D.Rhodes, his FLEX back. I got Barber and Westbrook as well. philssteelers200 0 Posted December 1, 2006 I'd go with Betts and Minny D.... Teams give up on running against the Minny D and Grossman is open to interceptions. Mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=257224
