remote controller 143 Posted January 26, 2007 Our City is unique. It pays our 7%, matches it twice, and you receive the whole 21% upon vesting. If you quit before vesting, you only get the 7%. I also am a volunteer fireman, and that is a separate 12% retirement.
Hurricane Ditka 0 Posted January 27, 2007 I am 31 and have 66K in my 401K. Have a mutual fund account with Waddell & Reed with 20K. Better yet my home has a value of $255K and I only owe $125K. My savings account: $94 dollars! (I just dropped 8K on two lower level Super Bowl Tickets)
VikesFan 1 Posted January 27, 2007 I'm 29 (wife 31) we have about 40k between the two of us from our old job (though she's now a home maker). I have about $200 in my new 401k, as I just started on full time about one month ago.
