Edgerton Hartwell - LB - Falcons

 

The Patriots are reportedly showing "strong interest" in free agent Edgerton Hartwell.

Hartwell was a huge disappointment as an inside linebacker in Atlanta because of injuries. The Patriots are looking for a run-stuffer and Hartwell should be coming at a reduced rate after two lost years. It wouldn't surprise us if Baltimore showed interest as well. Mar. 9 - 9:37 a.m. ET

I could see this as a great value signing. I could see NE getting much more out of Hartwell than Atlanta did. Mora Jr. was a moron.

Lets not get carried away, the guy has had some pretty serious injuries. He's played 13 games combined in the past two seasons.

 

He might be worth a flyer, but I'd hardly pencil him into the starting lineup.
