I just think that by draft time in late August/early September I just might have Travis Henry in my top 6/7 rbs. If Henry can play like he did with the Titans this past year, behind Denver's o-line, then he would definitely warrant a 6th/7th ranking. But the way Shanahan handles the RB situation has a way of creating headaches. The presence of Mike Bell would make me uneasy, as he is still going to factor in to the offense one way or another. That, and Travis Henry only finished the season ranked 22nd. Going to Denver with no guarantee that he will be the man for the whole season doesn't boost him up that much for me. krokus 0 Posted May 1, 2007 ok, here's a better way to put it... they drafted Ryan Moats in the 3rd in 2005, since then he's carried the ball 77 times... i'm just glad i didn't bump Westy down back then like you suggest we should do now since they drafted another 3rd rd RB... and just out of curiousity, since you want to bump Westy down since PHI drafted an RB in the 3rd, what about Benson in CHI, and RB on MIA - both of their teams drafted RB in the 3rd too... heck, Cincy drafted an RB in the second - i should probably drop Rudi straight out of the top 15... You win Famousb - You've convinced me! High round draft picks have no effect on existing starting players at that position. Shanahan handed Tatum the starting position this past year with Mike Bell coming in to give Tatum a breather. Travis can do it all. Run inside, run outside, catch, and he's got the big contract....he's going to be the man and I see him putting up stats like when he was the starter in Buffalo. 1400/1500 and 13 rushing, 300 and 2 receiving. By the way in my non ppr league, Henry was 13th overall in rb points last year while playing in only 14 games. just sayin... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Turcaso 1 Posted May 16, 2007 Two guys that I see as low and high on the original list. Rudy - why is a one dimentional back getting ranked in the 6-9 range on most lists? Boooooring. I know he is consisdent 10 td's however there is too much upside on Addai and some others behind him.... Rudi slips to the 10 to 12 range on my list. Reggie Bush - this guy will be top 10 this year! Look at his stats say after his first 6 NFL games. This is the type of pick you should make this year ahead of a Rudi type RB in the 7-10 range IMO Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
