Right, I understand. Because Travis Henry is a sure-fire healthy stud all year long. At least, that's what everyone keeps thinking here.

I love the LOL emoticon, supposedly emphasizing how 'silly' your idea of Bell is, when the Den RB situation has been so unpredictable the last 3-4 years.

 

I remember Tatum Bell lock to start...ended up being Reuben Droughns.

TBell again lock to start...in steps Mike Anderson.

TBell AGAIN...but wait...this board was highly touting RON DAYNE too...then who ended up with comparable ff pts with half the touches? MIKE Bell.

 

It's funny, as again back to Dayne...just b/c Shanny 'brought' him in, spoke highly of him in camp, etc. there were many on this board who thought he could get the job.

 

Bringing in, speaking highly of him...sounds alot like Henry huh?

 

Now I'm not comparing Dayne to Henry, and from what I've heard, if Henry does well in preseason, it'll be his job...that's fine.

 

But considering Shanny's history... (1) By no means is it a lock and thinking otherwise is FAR from 'silly', (2) I'm just not sure, even if Henry gets majority of carries, that he will necessarily get significantly more than Bell.

 

Add that I'm in a mock right now and Henry went in 2nd, while Bell has yet to be picked in the mid 9th rnd...so if that's any indication of when draft's really come, somebody with potential of contributing either as significant 'part time' or as the majority ball carrier in Den offense, is definitely worth considering in 9th rnd+ (let's remember that Henry has played 1 full season in his career and that was 5 years ago.)
