Then, when you call/email them back and tell them you don't have enough information to recreate the issue they say, "But I sent you the error message. Yeah, my many years in IT have given me the skills to decifer what he's saying w/out having to find my secret decoder ring. "Good guys" = I know I'm an idiot, so I'm going to try to kiss some ass in line 1. "Do you know if we are having problems with the server this morning?" = Something that normally works isn't working right now. I'll leave it to you and your trusty Ougia board to figure out what, though. "All of the scanners are working." = The last time I contacted you about a problem, which may or may not be related to this one in any way, the problem turned out to be some scanners weren't working. So, I did my due diligence and checked to make sure they were all working this time...even though the issue I need help with may be related to completely different systems than last time.
