How stupid is this guy?

This is an email this stupid motherfocker just sent to IT.

 

Good Guys,

 

Do you know if we are having problems with the server this morning? All of the scanners are

working.

My personal fave is when they send you the error message without telling you how they got the error message. Then, when you call/email them back and tell them you don't have enough information to recreate the issue they say, "But I sent you the error message. :dunno: "

Yeah, my many years in IT have given me the skills to decifer what he's saying w/out having to find my secret decoder ring.

 

"Good guys" = I know I'm an idiot, so I'm going to try to kiss some ass in line 1.

 

"Do you know if we are having problems with the server this morning?" = Something that normally works isn't working right now. I'll leave it to you and your trusty Ougia board to figure out what, though.

 

"All of the scanners are working." = The last time I contacted you about a problem, which may or may not be related to this one in any way, the problem turned out to be some scanners weren't working. So, I did my due diligence and checked to make sure they were all working this time...even though the issue I need help with may be related to completely different systems than last time.
