I have a frined with a newborn and he and his wife seem like they're starting to go at it over whose responsibility it is to get up with the bebe. Not really. He sleeps in Saturdays, I sleep in Sundays. She's about 16 months old, so we don't have the night feedings and all of that. When she was a newborn and I stayed home, I was nursing, so I would get up with her the majority of the time. Sometimes he would go get her, change her, and then give her to me. Now with our son (he's 5) hubby worked nights, so I was there for all of it pretty much by myself. THAT was very tough...even during the days. Like drinking, drinking or just an occassional beer or something?
