Guest RenoZ Posted August 13, 2007 I read the title and thought you were talking about Bonds not "roiding up" last night - not to mention the G-men getting shutout and their pitching savior slipping even further below .500.

It's gonna be a while before we make it back to the playoffs. 4-5 years is my guess.

RicemanX 20 Posted August 13, 2007 Hmmm... I don't know. Have you seen the young talent in the NL West? Not really so much with the Giants. Cain(22), Lincecum(23), Lowry(26), Zito(29). Best rotation in the NL in a couple of years. We have some speedy outfielders who just need to learn how to get on base more. And all we need is 2-3 big bats to compete. A-Rod, Miguel Cabrera, and Andruw Jones will do just fine.

RicemanX 20 Posted August 13, 2007 Zito's contract ruined any chance of this happening haha yea, it was a wish and not a prediction. I would be happy with one of those guys. Or even 3 cheaper hitters like: Tad Iguchi Geoff Jenkins Mike Cameron
