shovelheadt 62 Posted August 21, 2007 I'd be all over that focker..seriously. You're getting 2 unquestioned starting RBs for a guy that won't be ready till game 2 or 3 now...if he even shows up. MTSkiBum 1,605 Posted August 21, 2007 Before you trade for T Jones, i just read this today NFL insider Adam Schein is reporting that Jets RB Thomas Jones had an Achilles injury that led to his calf strain. "A source close to Thomas Jones tells me that the original injury he had was an Achilles strain, and as a result of favoring that injury, one week ago in practice, Jones suffered a calf strain," said Schein. "The same source did tell me he will be ready for the New England game in Week One. Achilles strains can linger. So it was an Achilles strain that morphed into a calf strain." Stewburtx8 67 Posted August 21, 2007 Yeah all this trade does is add depth, but your making your starting lineup much worse. LJ is still one of the top 3 RB's in football. bc91 0 Posted August 21, 2007 Personally I would do that deal, You are getting 2 good RB for depth and adding the #1 WR in manys opinion.
