gram 0 Posted September 14, 2007 so i am doing te by committee. one of these for will eventually worlk out but for right now, i have to pick each week. next week i am dropping one may be even but not sure who yet. we wil see so who do i start this week Eric johnon vs tb bo scaife vs inde lj smith vs was ...also, does any body think cochery or bulger will bounce back this week? will answer yours
throttlers 0 Posted September 14, 2007 I'd go with Scaife for this week, but it is a close call. I think Bulger will be ok but not great this week. I have him ranked around 8th among QB's this week. Cotchery may bounce back, but I doubt it will be this week. Pennington is out and they play the Ravens coming off a loss. Ouch. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=287289
tiger99 0 Posted September 14, 2007 I like Eric Johnson in a 50/50 or PPR league. I think if you are in a more TD heavy league I would go with Scaife. Thanks for mine.
vicksdawgs 0 Posted September 14, 2007 Brees targeted Johnson a lot preseason and a good showing last week. He was also tight end friendly in college. LJ is a bit banged up so I'd not go there. Scaife is a decent option also. Maybe look into who has faster linebackers since that is who will probably be covering them...
lpdeluxe 0 Posted September 14, 2007 EJ got targeted a lot last week, I like him in PPR and yardage. Miami's TE caught one against Wash last week, might be a good sign for LJ Smith. If it's me I start LJ. Stay away from Jets receivers. Bulger will be OK
bpork 0 Posted September 14, 2007 EJ caught like 4 catches in a row in garbage time...his numbers are actually a little bloated i'd go with Scaife, even though I don't know much about him...I just don't like your other two guys
BiscuitBoy 0 Posted September 14, 2007 I like EJ if he can stay healthy this season...you may not even need to do TE by committee if this happens. I would take EJ in a PPR league and Scaife if not a PPR league.
PckrsGirl 0 Posted September 14, 2007 Thanks for the help. I would say either Eric J or LJ over Scaife. Eric J got a few balls thrown his way and TB is a little weak. I'm sure Bulger will recover, and I also hope Cotchery recovers (my #4) but with Pennington being out possibly...eh.
Eaglephan 0 Posted September 14, 2007 I'd stay away from LJJ, and that's coming from an Eagle partisan. He's banged up, big time. EJ all the way.
