tallkris3 0 Posted September 22, 2007 If you start 2 RB and 3 WR I think I might do that deal. We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1TE If I do the deal who do I send?
cdavidw 0 Posted September 22, 2007 I'm trying to trade McNabb, but I think he will get better. But I think this is a good deal - not a huge Jamal Lewis fan, but hey - he does play the bengals again, right?
PDrax 0 Posted September 22, 2007 Think the trade is solid. I would tend toward keeping Cotchery even though both teams are uneasy in the QB area, I just think Cothchery, week in and week out would be more consistent then Curry. On the other hand...it is sort of, six of one half and a dozen of the other. In any event in the long haul McNabb should come around. Good luck.
skittles 0 Posted September 22, 2007 If by fair, you mean, should it be allowed -- yes. Nothing wrong with the deal. I'm not so sure I would do it though. You'll be relying on Chris Chambers as a starter -- sure, he had a nice first two games, but no TDs, and what happens when he gets shut down like last year. People won't let him have his 10 balls a game for long. I would much prefer Boldin along with Walker and Williams, keeping your WR tandem just studly. You don't need Lewis on your bench, obviously, and at this point, Mcnabb is only a minor upgrade from Leinart. At least Leinart is likely to finish the year. I can't say that with Mcnabb. He plays an average of what, 10 games a year anymore, and you're already 2 games into that with NO production. I'd just be careful. Don't trade just to trade. gocolts 300 Posted September 22, 2007 Looks like a decent deal BUT you don't need much help at RB in the first place.
mdm_1971 0 Posted September 22, 2007 Not really sure i would do it..... your ok at rb and ok at wr so really you would hurt yourself to add mcnabb because you wouldnt have to use Lewis see mine please http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=289801
Stopper 0 Posted September 22, 2007 I don't know that buying low on McNabb will pan out. I'd be hesitant of doing this deal. Leinart's wides are better than McNabb's, though if (IF) Donovan can turn it around you'll be kicking yourself for not pulling the trigger. I'd say no. ChazzyCelotts 1 Posted September 23, 2007 screw that i say go for it./ Mcnabb WILL get better, i mean christ the guy just had a huge knee surgery not even a yr ago. And jamal is a good upgrade over Caddy (whos engine should fall out) and lamont while although is doing great, is likely to lose carries. Pull the trigger man, the cardnials dont throw as much as the used to either. Dump boldin
