Reggie Bush and Housh for Tomlinson

Recommended Posts

I own Reggie Bush and Housh, Housh is my WR1 and I have a medly of #2's and #3's but no rock solid guy besides Housh. We start 3 WR's and 2 RB's this is not a ppr league all td's are 6pts. Here's my WR's other than Housh so you can gauge my depth, Lee Evans, Derrick Mason, Deon Branch, Roddy White, Greg Jennings.

He also offered Tomlinson for Bush/Romo, my backup here QB is Big Ben, do you think I should take either of these deals? I think Tomlinson is a great value right now after his first few rough weeks against great D's.

Any help would be great! Leave a link.

if the tomlinson owner is selling, you are buying

there is probably a major need for your team if you own Bush -- I believe that Bush's success is tied to the Saint's playcalling based on what I've heard about Bush (not all that, but still fast) and I also think the Saints will figure it out.

Assuming Bush meets my expectation, your dropoff from romo to big ben is nulled out by replacing bush with LT. You also get the same-ish drop off from Hoosh to a tier-3 WR

I wouldn't make either one of those trades for the following 2 reasons: 1) it leaves you very weak at the WR position and 2) Bush no longer has Duece to compete with or take away opportunities...a bonus reason - with Rudi hurt I would expect Cincy to be throwing even more, if that's possible.

Romo/Bush for LT

Any time you can get LT go for it

Big Ben is very good this year so you could start him w/o worry

Not sold on Bush and NO offense this year

I'll give you more info, My RB's are Addai, Bush, Jacobs, Norwood, and my Addia handcuff K. Kieth. I think Jacobs can pick up the slack if Bush slouches but I would love to get Tomlinson.

I am stuck starting Norwood if I cant make a move as well.

Do the deal...All the others who said so too are right. What sold it for me was the fact you would end up with LT and Addai.

No brainer, take the Bush/Romo for LT. Your RB's would be scary. Big Ben will get you by.

Agreed Bush/Romo for LT is a STEAL- dont be surprised assuming you allow votes if other owners VETO this. You are STEALING LT- Bush is a #2 or #3 RB in your scoring (no PPR) and Romo for LT isnt close. Big Ben will do you just fine.

Stop asking us and TAKE THIS DEAL before it goes away. I wouldnt do the WR version.

if you wanted LT that bad i would trade Bush/Romo

keep Housh especially w/ your week backups

LT would be a major upgrade from Bush

i don't think that LT will be this bad all year so i would say do the trade

thanks for answering mine

Romo and bush for LT - lt can carry you once he gets going. Pickup chris henry cin, he should be back in week 8 (if you have room).

What wides are out there - you are weak there and there c/b some potential out there let me know maybe we can help you there as well.

Henry wont actually be back until week 10 (8 game suspention, with a bye thrown in takes you out to week 10 when he can actually play) He is available though, I am thinking of trying to offload some of my guys to free up a roster spot.

Missed that with Henry - what other wideouts are available, let's see if you can upgrade your wide depth - though I love housh, jennings is good but is not 100% healthy and Branch s/b serviceable most weeks and evans looked good today with edwards but some of that may have been the jets not putting much pressure on edwards.

Good luck with the trade.

I did this deal before kickoff today, I threw up a little in my mouth watching the dallas game, Romo=Stud. But watching the statline from the SD game made me feel somewhat better. The best available WR would probably be DJax, since thats who he had to drop to take two players for one.
