Beef Ravioli 0 Posted October 10, 2007 Who would you rather have as RB#2 - MJD or Jacobs? Which one is going to get enough carries and put up consistent points? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!
yankmccobb 0 Posted October 10, 2007 I think Jacobs is your guy. MJD is a gimmick player in a poor conservative offense. He will never get the touches to become a consistent threat. I think last week was a sign of things to come for Jacobs and if he can hold on to the ball will gain the trust of the coaching staff and slowly take more and more carries away from Ward who is nothing special and not a franchise back as Jacobs has the potential to be. And, just for the record, I don't own any of these players.....just callin' it like I see it. Good luck!!!!
16 and 33 0 Posted October 10, 2007 This is quite simple, but I'll break it down for you: Would you rather have a BJ? Would you rather have a JD? See, I told you it would be an easy choice.
OuttaLuck 0 Posted October 10, 2007 I can't top the "Wouldn't you rather have a BJ?" response above, but in my opinion Jacobs is the better back. He had 20 carries for 100 yards and a TD last week, with another TD called back due to a holding call (yup, it was a hold, but I doubt the defender who was held would've gotten to Jacobs). Jones-Drew plays on a lousy offense and will lose more carries to F. Taylor than Jacobs will to Ward, plus Jacobs is the goal-line guy on the Giants.
