Buck Throbbington 0 Posted October 20, 2007 Up until last week I wouldn't have dreamed of asking this question, but Jacobs questionable injury status is making nervous. The G-men have 3 competent RB's and Jacobs appears to be a bit of a poosay. I could see the Giants using him sparing if the they get a lead on the 49er's. Also, the fact Droughns vultured that TD from the 1 yard line last week from Jacobs still p!sses me off. Hey Coughlin, isn't Jacobs specialty supposed to be short yardage and GL?!? Brown has obviously been a piece of shiat for most of the year, but he did have 6 catches for 89 yards last week. Prior to that game McNabb and Brown both said they said they talked about getting Brown more involved. Now they are playing against a depleted Bears secondary at home. I also am starting McNabb in this game, which doesn't really matter but I thought I'd mention it. I'm leaning towards starting Brown right now (obviously this is before I see the Sunday morning injury reports on Jacobs). Who do you think is the better start? Jacobs v. SF Brown v. Chi Leave a link and I'll answer yours
sportscleve14 0 Posted October 20, 2007 I would go with Brandon Jacobs
WFactor 0 Posted October 20, 2007 Even if Jacobs plays, they will limit his touches since they have Ward and even Droughns for short-yardage situations. I would just go with Brown, who should continue to get better. Please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=297049 Thanks.

I'm not sold on Jacobs right now because of that RBBC.
1b4igo 0 Posted October 21, 2007 if you get ppr, you have to go with Brown. otherwise, a healthy RB is almost guarnteed 70 yds in that game. see mine. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=297099
kac1 0 Posted October 21, 2007 yeah, if it is a PPR go with brown. Otherwise go with Jacobs. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=296942

Da Rook 0 Posted October 21, 2007 Jacobs is the start here. I think his ankle will be fine and he is looking for the end zone. Please help: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=297149
MFs13 0 Posted October 21, 2007 I would go with the consensus here. A healthy Jacobs is your start. thanks for mine

ggroovy17 0 Posted October 21, 2007 If Jacobs play, then you have to go with him.
bgard72 10 Posted October 21, 2007 I would go with Jacobs no doubt. However, he is listed as questionable so I would check back a half hour before his game (1pm) for updates on if he's playing.
