Drop Javon Walker?

Recommended Posts

I've been holding onto Walker but could use some WR help immediately. I'm thinking of picking up Chris Henry for him.

Other options are Devery Henderson, David Patten, Shaun MacDonald...I also could drop Kevin Curtis, who is the guy I'm thinking I need to bench this week.

Any advice?

I'll answer yours.

thanks

Henry would be the one worth picking up based on what he has done in the past, but I don't know if I would drop either for him. What does the rest of your roster look like? What is the starting lineup?

I've actually used Curtis more than Walker due to injury

Here's my roster:

QB: McNabb, Harrington, Pennington

RB: Tomlinson, MJD, Travis Henry, Thomas Jones

WR Lee Evans, Joey Galloway, Kevin Curtis, Crayton, Javon Wallker

K: Gostkowski, Rackers

DST: Steelers, NYGiants

Walker could be back week 11 from what I've read but that's very iffy and best case scenario...it looks much more likely to be week 13. And then you'd have to see how good he is just back. I say get Henry -- he might even start this week if Ocho can't go. This against a bad BAL secondary.

i'd hold on to Walker. he was a stud before the injury.

thanks for mine.

I agree. Keep walker for now. He'll be back in a week or two just in time for fantasy playoffs. Denver will need him to be successful.

I would keep Walker and Curtis.

I would suggest dropping Rackers but you need him this week to cover for Gostkowski's bye.

Why not drop Pennington for Chris Henry, you won't need Chad at all!!!!!

I've got Walker in one of my leagues, and I'm holding on to him. Do whatever roster voodoo is necessary, but keep him around. If you believe the Chris Henry buzz, which I think is quite credible, then you might want to consider dropping someone to get him. However, if you've got a good record, I wouldn't get hasty. Don't fix what isn't broken.

If it was me, Id drop Pennington. He's not even the starter anymore

Thanks for your response to mine

Don't hold onto 2 kickers to cover a bye - it's wasted roster space... So is Pennington for that matter. Chris Henry could explode, with or without Chad in the picture. He has fresh legs and has lots to prove. I would take the risk/reward he has over a kicker by cover or chad pennington.

What do you think - http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=300606
