OuttaLuck 0 Posted November 9, 2007 No, I do not, so no, I will not concede any such thing. Neither of the statements were derogatory - the statements were indicating that it's a parking lot attendant Vs a millionaire athlete. Saying he could have had his own motives based on the fact that he is a lower income person making allegations against a significantly higher income person was just that - saying that often celebrities are victims of thier celebrity. I most certainly did NOT state in any way shape or form that a person lacks credibility because they are a parking lot attendant. There's a huge focking difference. Smart as you seem, not sure how you drew the conclusions above, but you're way out of line. C'mon, my_2_cents--you're losing all credibility here...for example, your comment ending with "like being a parking lot attendant" and your comment concerning "a better chance of getting a statement from the 5$-er" are not comments that at the very least IMPLY your disdain for him or his credibility?? Also, not to mention that you continually referred to him as a parking lot attendant-why even mention that fact if it made no difference to you? It seemed pretty obvious to me that you intended to downgrade his version of the events simply because of his occupational status. I can make this comment without hesitation--any reasonable juror reading your comments here almost certainly would conclude that you were not exactly being kind, or objective, about the fact the guy is a parking lot attendant. Additionally, even if you disagree with my assessment, that fact hardly gives you any right to call me a liar. I simply stated my position--calling me a liar for doing so is the height of arrogance. The statement about the 5-er was implying that neither Chris Henry nor his friend would be forthcoming. Obviously. Re-read the fockign quote asshat. I said you'd have a better chance of getting a statement from the 5-er than from Henry or his associate. Also, not to mention that you continually referred to him as a parking lot attendant-why even mention that fact if it made no difference to you? Because he's a parking lot attendant and I didn't think it appropriate to refer to him as a dog catcher, investment banker or milk man. He is what he is. As I stated - it seems to be YOU who feels that parking lot attendant = bad thing. It seemed pretty obvious to me that you intended to downgrade his version of the events simply because of his occupational status. Agian, that was not my intent at all. You can continue repeating yourself or you can take me at my word that I intended no such thing. I explained the point I was making twice now. After that you're on your own, but I am telling you with no uncertaintly that I was NOT being derogatory. I didn't call him a racial slur, I didn't say he lacked cred because he was a parking lot attendant, and I didn't say that anyone of that class or social status lacked credibility as you said I did. I said that sometimes people who are not millionaires target those who are for various reasons. I didn't say that this guy did that - I said it was a possibility. And that because there were no witnesses to the alleged events, and that no one knows what really happened that day, it is questionable to make judgements about Henry based on the account as reported by the Cinci news media. I think it's a fair position to take. Don't get mad at me for your own lack of comprehension. I can make this comment without hesitation--any reasonable juror reading your comments here almost certainly would conclude that you were not exactly being kind, or objective, about the fact the guy is a parking lot attendant. And I say this with absolute certainty: only a complete idiot would INFER those derogatory things from my statements and you cannot quote me saying anything to support your inferences. And once again: HE IS A FOCKING PARKING LOT ATTENDANT. SO ANY JURY COULD INDEED CONCLUDE I CALLED HIM ONE AND ANYONE WITH A LICk OF SENSE WOULD REALIZE THAT IT'S IN NO WAY INSULTING TO CALL A PARKING LOT ATTENDANT A PARKING LOT ATTENDANT. What the fock does objectivity even have to do with that?!?!? Can you subjectively call him a parking lot attendant? Does that make him less or more of a parking lot attendant? Can't wait to hear your explanation on this one you raging focktard. Additionally, even if you disagree with my assessment, that fact hardly gives you any right to call me a liar. I simply stated my position--calling me a liar for doing so is the height of arrogance. You are lying because you stated as a fact that I said people who are in lower economic status lacked credibiltiy when I said no such thing. And you continue to suggest that when in fact that is all your inference and not anything I said. I'm done with you liar.

Your comments reveal your almost complete inability to admit when you're wrong, or to refrain from calling people liars or otherwise using epithets or insults when you disagree with their position. It's truly a shame that you're a teacher--or that you once were- (if memory serves me, I think that's what you indicated in the past--if I'm wrong, please let me know) and that your attitude and approach may influence students or others. It's truly a shame that you're a teacher--or that you once were- (if memory serves me, I think that's what you indicated in the past--if I'm wrong, please let me know) and that your attitude and approach may influence students or others. There aren't enough of these on the Interwebs to appropriately describe your projection here. You were 100% wrong, you inferred something from my post that I neither meant nor said, then chose to ignore completely my correction of your inferance in favor of your own ignorant assumption. Which means you're being deliberately obtuse. I am not a teacher, which just goes to show another example of you assuming things without bothering to read what others say. What a shame that you lack the balls to admit that you were out of line or offer a much deserved apology for your insinuation that I engaged in classism. Finally, what's there for me to be wrong about? For offering a possible defense for Henry? For daring to suggest that perhaps the guy in the parking lot had an ulterior motive? I didn't say that was the case ever, but just offering it up as a possibility makes me "wrong"? Yet you state emphatically that I said that people in that social standing (parking attendant) lack credibility - funny how despite being challenged 2X you still haven't quoted me saying it. I'd say that makes you a liar. And now you keep repeating that calling a parking garage attendant a parking garage attendant is a derogatory comment. wow. just wow. And yet you now say *I* lack the ability to admit when I was wrong. Funny - the only one who's documented being wrong in here is you with your inferences. And yet you now say *I* lack the ability to admit when I was wrong. Funny - the only one who's documented being wrong in here is you with your inferences. You said you were done with me--does that make you a liar? I can't believe that you continue to deny that your posts about "parking lot attendants" did not reveal your belief about them in general. No, you never said "He's ONLY a parking lot attendant, for God's sake", but your repeated, denigrating comments about him leave little choice for reasonable minds to differ about your intent and thoughts. As far as "There aren't enough of these on the interweb to appropriately describe your projection here", please explain what that comment means. I'm not being a smart-ass...I really am unsure what you meant by that comment. Sometimes using a subject noun in a sentence helps. To use your words from past Scooter comments, "It's a tip". With respect to me asking if you're a teacher--or were one--again, it was a question. I was trying NOT to assume something. I thought in the past you had indicated you somehow were involved in teaching endeavors, which is why I asked the question. I thank God you're NOT a teacher. Also, you're wrong about a few things. You tried to imply that there was no debate or question about Henry being penalized, either by the appropriate correctional system or the NFL. You were wrong--there IS a question about those issues. Perhaps you're right that Henry won't be penalized, but you're wrong to have stated categorically that there IS no debate about that issue. Originally, you never phrased your comments in terms of possibilities--you asserted, point blank, (in essence) that there was no debate and "topic over". Having said those things, now I'll phrase them as you would have, as follows: "You're a douche bag." "You're a liar". "I say what I want when I want". Ok, enough....this debate doesn't belong here, since it's just 2 FFToday members piddling on each other's foot and it doesn't involve fantasy football. I'll be happy to continue it anywhere you wish, whether on the Geek Board or otherwise. Feel free to leave a last comment and tell me where (if anywhere) you continue to wish to be embarassed. OuttaLuck 0 Posted November 9, 2007 One last comment, my_2_cents...I probably shouldn't add this message, but I just can't resist--the next time you try to insult someone by calling him "Einstien", at least spell the name properly--I consider that both funny AND ironic--AND try to post a message that verges upon English. Ok, as I said...post your last (if any) comment and let's move this post elsewhere.
unclemercy 53 Posted December 17, 2009 So much for the "genius" pick-ups bragged about across the internets! This thread would not have been complete with the obilgatory "you are an idiot because you may have wasted one pickup on someone that I didn't get" comment. Does WKRP have a website? "As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly!!!" Gordon Jump's best work this side of Diff'rent Strokes that line about wasting the pickup is pretty funny.
