jtl18 0 Posted November 8, 2007 Tough one as I own and love both Gore and Wayne. Depending on your WR depth, I might lean towards doing it simply because Gore is banged up and isn't catching the ball at all even when he is healthy. James should be fine and I expect AJ to return to his pass catching ways. Is there any way to include a WR slightly lower than Wayne? Please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=300750
chrisfab 0 Posted November 8, 2007 He will only take wayne. My other WRs are Housh/A. Walter/Chris Henry. Not too much depth. My RBs are Gore/FWP/J. Lewis/Norwood/K. Watson.
Sportslitter 0 Posted November 8, 2007 He will only take wayne. My other WRs are Housh/A. Walter/Chris Henry. Not too much depth. My RBs are Gore/FWP/J. Lewis/Norwood/K. Watson. I'd stand pat. You need a stud WR like Wayne more then you need an upgrade at RB. FWP and Lewis should be fine at RB. please help me http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=300761
adrian2280 0 Posted November 8, 2007 I say go for it. Wayne has a tough schedule and will get covered more with the injuries and Gore is uncertain. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=300759
axels08 0 Posted November 8, 2007 i would sta pat. just as you question gore you have to question AD. you should be fine with your other backs and wayne
bigbaby92 0 Posted November 8, 2007 Keep Wayne and Gore ... Wayne is the man without Harrison in the lineup - and even with coverages rolled his way he will still be the primary target for Peyton (Other than Clark ... who else will Peyton throw to downfield? Gonzalez? Moorehead? No way) Is Johnson back and healthy?
ProfessorP 0 Posted November 8, 2007 Seems as if the deal is simply for Wayne from his standpoint, the rest is fluff. Use his stubbornness against him. Reject it up front. You'll be more than fine!
skittles 0 Posted November 8, 2007 I don't think I would do it. Giving up Wayne is just a bit too much, especially with Harrison dinged up. He's the man right now, and reaping the benefits of that injury. Gore will at least get you a catch or two (assuming the QB there can at least lay a simple dump off), while Edge is rather unlikely. Getting the injured Andre Johnson back just isn't enough. These aren't the same Texans he left early in the season, and it isn't all just because of him. chrisfab 0 Posted November 8, 2007 I'm really leaning on not doing it....anyone else???
MikeyNavy 1 Posted November 8, 2007 I don't think I would do it either. Johnson might not do so well even when he gets back. With Schaub and Sage getting beat up all over the place, they don't even have time to throw deep. Johnson will also be rusty for a few weeks...and then the season is over. Wayne is still posting good numbers with Harrison out, and will do even better when Harrison gets back.
