mggoilers 0 Posted July 6, 2008 Peterson missed more games last year than LT has missed his entire career. Same goes for S-Jax LT is the best running back in the NFL, Fantasy, so the question should be "Who are you taking #2?" LT has proven in his career he can run against 8 or 9 man fronts, Peterson and Jackson haven't seen it. Peterson saw it last year at times, and sunk...he'll see more this year. Give me LT all day. ratbastard1 0 Posted July 6, 2008 Call me weird, but I don't draft anyone in the first round who only had 1 good year. Because there are many examples of 1 year wonders, its not worth the risk. Weirdo. AD has only played one year. He's a stud. Tomlinson is a stud too but he's getting old. Are you saying that you wouldn't take AD in the first round? Because if you are then who would you take at 10 or 12 over him? It's close in a redraft, it isn't close in a keeper.

bigdev 0 Posted July 7, 2008 AP has been hurt the last 3 years. Consistency is a mofo. give me Addai at 2, only because i hate the eagles.
sanders 0 Posted July 7, 2008 The thing that is going to hurt LT this year is not having Lorenzo Neal lead blocking for him. Hes going to take a lot more punishment.

mggoilers 0 Posted July 7, 2008 And who is gonna block for AP? When Neal broke his leg last year, LT's numbers did not suffer. They used the 2nd TE (Pacific Islander - BM) and the backup FB caught the ball well. I see nothing that hurts LT, besides Gates injury which could cause the safety to be a little less honest in the box.
Zee 0 Posted July 7, 2008 You've got to go with the tried and true in a redraft league. LT for sure. In a Dynasty league I would pick AP, as he's bound to have more years left in the tank.
Bishop82 61 Posted July 10, 2008 lol @ bishop. email me if you want to play in my league. How did Frank Gore, MJD, and Willie Parker do for you last year, among other countless disappointments throughout the years. I'm just saying between the constant stud (LT) or the young hyped kid (AP) I'll take my chances with LT.
